You could always try to modify and combine D20 Modern with like StarWars RPG? I know they are somewhat similar but the starwars would give you some rules for vehicle combat

actually if you're familiar with 3.5 I'd suggest using the BESM d20 book, and letting everyone gestalt the Giant Robot Class with anything else from 3.5

Damn, I wish I knew enough people around here to be able to get back into Tabletop rpgs. They were so much fun. Living in the arse end of the sticks sucks sometimes.

I never got to play D&D past the AD&D stage (had moved away from it before Wizards bought it) so don't actually know how the D20 system works. Is it similar to the old D10 system White Wolf used for Vampire/Werewolf/etc. 2nd ed? (Now I'm showing my age lol) I wrote a whole bunch of stuff for that system, some of it got published online too. Sadly, I don't have copies as it died with GeoCities :(

Champions/Risk/Palladium rpg-types translate near perfectly over to Transformers, but the game is so incredibly overpowered you need an exceptional GM for it to flow properly, even robot-on-robot combat was over in seconds.

initially it was for a forum based rob. I can link the google doc with the system I was working on.
Is that the one you linked me to on NeoKaon ages ago? Did you get any further with that?
It look complicated but had real potential.

I got the Beast Wars Mutating Card Game (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Beast_Wars_Trans ... _Card_Game) its a pretty fun game. Takes like 5 minutes to play, which is geat, because anything longer then 5 minutes is NOT worth my time.

Anybody thought about making a Warhammer-tyle tabletop game using Micromasters?
They're virtually the same size, they'd fit onto the bases. And there's enough micros out there (or even mini-cons, but we all know they ain't the same thing) to ensure two players had a nice sized army.

You'd have to be pretty creative with the rules, and come up with some type of class system (maybe integrate transformations into it!), but it could work. Maybe. I'm not really that clued-up on the game.

The only one I've ever come across is the Monopoly. But an RPG sounds fun. I'm sure my husband would be all over it.
