Transformers Takara Boxset

Couple of questions about this box set I have found on eBay:
1) is the English translation any good or is it the dodgy one from the previous box set?
2) is it legit as the fraction symbols appear to be movieverse style?
3) it states that it is region free, will it play on a Uk PS3?

It's a fairly good set, though a few of the subtitles/translations are off, especially in Masterforce. The symbols are movie-verse, the inside artwork is from DW's comic books from 2003-2004. It's a head shot of Megatron with a smaller Optimus Prime standing in front of him. There's also artwork from each of the series included. I couldn't tell you if it will play in the UK, it's a set from Malaysia with a code of DVD9, which should be region-free. I can only play it on my computer, not in any of my consoles, though, or even on my DVD player.

It's a bootleg. Probably ripped from either UK or Australian DVD sets, or even from TV-Nihon's fansubs.
