In addition to the premieres of Transformers Prime season 2 and Transformers: Rescue Bots on February 18th the Hub will also be airing Transformers: The Animated Movie at 9:00 PM ET. I already own one copy of every TFTM release in North America, so as awesome as it is that young TF fans who only know it from The HUB can finally see it and make sense of the S3 eps, I normally wouldn't really care.

And yet, this PIPA business has inspired me to DVR it and burn a DVD-R for my own personal use, and ask any interested rights-holders to explain just whose job I'm taking by keeping it on my shelf next to all 4 of my legit copies, and the bootleg VHS tape of the UK release that made it to Canada in the late '90s.

Great timing. I was just talking with a friend a few days ago that got into G1 via the Hub, and really wanted to see the movie. He'll definitely be glad to hear this. February 18th is really becoming a big day, eh?

But yay! I was really hoping not to spend money on the Movie so I can watch the third season! THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!

Yes! I've never seen the movie, and have even tried buying a dvd on ebay that turned out to be, Korean and half-functional. sigh.

I've been catching bits and pieces of the third season, and am fairly confused.

Search Aeon Magnus on youtube. He has the entire movie on his channel.

I had a feeling that they were going to do this sooner or later on The Hub, and as a pretty new fan who's never actually seen the film, I'm really looking forward to it.

Yeah, I was actually just looking on eBay for a copy of the movie the other day (which I still do intend to buy) and a lot of "buy it now" sellers had a Korean version of it. It's not immediately recognizable, but the fact it has Korean subtitles and was Region 0 was a tip off. Always gotta be careful with eBay.

I'm not sure how old you were in 1986 or if you were even around, but for those of us who were big Transformers fans and didn't get to see the movie right away, it was horrible. I knew Transformers left and right even then but had no freakin' clue as to what was supposed to be going on.
