I've been watching The Japanese Collection from Shout! Factory (in order, a few episodes a night since I received it a couple weeks back) and have run into two episodes with subtitle issues. I emailed Shout! Factory when I ran into the second issue on Saturday, but it's too early for me to have heard back from them yet. I just wanted to see if this was an issue with only my set, or all sets. Here are the issues I've run into:

Transformers: Head Masters disk 4, episode "God Ginrai: Into the Sky!" The issues start at 6:12 into the episode. The character Hawk is talking and the subtitles stop mid-sentence, then continue when the next character speaks. So from there on in the episode, all sub titles are a sentence off. It is annoying, but I could figure out what was being said by pausing and going back.

Transformers: Victory disk 3, episode "Battle to the Death at the South Pole!". The subtitle track for the entire episode is actually the one for the episode "A Deadly Battle", which is two episodes later. Since they are the incorrect subtitles, I can't watch the episode at all nor continue on with the series as I have no idea what's going on and I want to watch the entire collection in it's entirety, in order.

This is the first issue of any kind on any of the DVDs I have from Shout! Factory, so I was taken back when this happened. Other than this problem, I think this set, like all the others, is excellent and I hope they are able to get more of our wonderful addiction on DVD. And Jayce volume 2

That's from Super-God Masterforce, not The Headmasters.

I had read on TFW that Shout! was going to be sending out free replacement discs, but I don't know any of the details.
