Weapon: Twin Sonic Cannons
I was excited to see this figure. Now that I'm actually looking at him, that excitement is waning pretty quickly

With some improvements here and there, this might be a good start for a custom WFC Skids. Maybe.

Ah, good thinking! I was thinking 'Smokescreen?', but you're right, the vehicle mode makes more sense as Skids. Now I will finally have a movieverse TF I can call Skids!

He looks okay, not into how much he's based off of Roadbuster, but by the looks of those ankle joints I'll probably end up liking Evac more, since Roadbuster had no ankle tilt.

I like the toy a lot. It looks like a cross between a sports car and the bat mobile from the last Batman movies.

Liking both modes but not liking the fact that this thing most likely will be exclusive to the theme park and will therefore cost 60 bucks for a deluxe class figure. By the time I pay admission to the park and deal with other expenses I'll be out close to $150.00 for one day in pursuit of $10.00 worth of plastic. Great toy but piss-poor idea making it so hard to get but still advertising its existence to the entire fandom.

Why would you assume it's only going to be sold at the theme park? Isn't it expsensive to design and manufacture a new mold? I doubt they'd go through the trouble to make something that's only going to be sold in the theme park gift shot.

Well, you might actually enjoy the park and the ride while you're there. If you go just to buy the figure, THAT would be a piss-poor idea.

looks like it has potential but the back kibble & the placement of the feet in alt mode kinda kill it.

Looks awesome! I sure hope he's not exclusive to the park, but I doubt that he would be.

Agreed on the back kibble. It's not as bad as, say, Roadbuster's which is long enough to look like the back of a trenchcoat, but I'm seriously not liking the designer's decision of leaving the whole car's roof hanging off the bot mode's back. And when you look at Evac's alt mode, there really isn't much of a roof in the first place.

Anyways, I like the fig enough to buy it; just hoping it's not a park exclusive.

oh. well, then.

not bothered about this at all. the original concept/proto pics we saw at botcon looked better, or maybe i'm remembering wrong. either way, as it is, I'm not a fan of the toy's alt mode (that render of it looks nice though) and the robot mode is fairly generic. maybe in colours that made it pop more, i might be swayed, and i suppose, if i was at a theme park and it was there for a tenner or something, i might pick it up, but it's not high up my very long list of wants for this year.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Prowl, Astrotrain, Ramjet, Skywarp, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Blurr, Perceptor, GDO Wheelie and Springer, or 3rd Party Motobot Arcee, FP Springer, iGear Ratchet and Ironhide, City Commander (and/or Ultra Magnus), Starscream (deluxe) Coronation add-on, or Spike and Daniel in their Exo-Suits.
