Oh boy. That Starscream is pretty common and there's TONS of him at every TrU. If that guy also bought them at full price, it's pretty stupid. If he's really a scalper, I just KNOW he will be pretty disapointed.

Not in America. TRU doesn't stock anywhere near as well as they do in Canada.

But this isnt a standard release, its a TRU exclusive, they will have to stock them (they cant just skip buying a wave as they do with other releases). So you will certainly see him again at retail or online.

You can actually get him there right now: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... age=search

Yeah, I know. I bought him online. I'm just saying, in my experience, TRU doesn't stick that heavy on Transformer items. Not even exclusives. That scalper will probably have a lot of luck.

When I went to mine, I was hoping to find Starscream and Prime. Instead, they had 2 Starscreams and nothing else, so I got lucky with this guy, and he is a good figure.

Nice find on the Strongarm too, that seems to be a good mold and the weapon minicons are pretty neat little buggers

I wasn't quite sure if to use this thread or the other one - but since I'd already posted here - I'll do here.

-----------

So it was a Bank Holiday weekend in England this weekend. So that was Bootsales On Saturday, Sunday and Monday so I went to 5 of them.

I picked up all sort of random tat from 10p finds like small turtles figures, Marvel & Galactic Heroes figures even a Robot Heroes Stepper/Ricochet.

I got 3 Vintage Miromasters The 2 trucks from the Off road patrol and Fixit from the Emergency Patrol.

I got a semi-complete Leader Sentinel prime (no weapons), a random Turtle figure and a Bumblebee Garage car and Axel combo of rescue bots toy - which was nice as i'd previously picked up a Garage with not accessories.

I got a Movie Swerve (complete) DOTM arcee (no stand) That Black Playskool Gobot Pick up. a sealed tub of bits (mostly Power rangers and turtles - but some Transformers pieces too), a Voyager Energon Megatron Tank (no missile), Vector Primes Brown Minicon, Another Universe Minicon in lime green for that Decepticon cement mixer, Universe Legion Red Alert, Universe Legion Starscream, Legion Rampage (the non combining one in red), a junker Universe Deluxe Galvatron - (as Mine had two left feet) this does not. also a Jp dino figurine possibly from a board game.
Assorted bakugan. the Dark saber Minicons (complete and with Instructions)

Also I got one of those large headed glow in the dark Burger King Ratchets, a Fast food prime Bumblebee robot, a fast food 2007 Megatron, a fast food 2007 Blackout, a giant over 16" tall Transformers Prime Titan thing for 50p

A largish non-transforming Optimus with a spinning buzzsaw arm & sounds for another 50p

A 3.75" Terminator Salvaton possable endoskeleton for 30p, a small metal Movie optimus figure - fully painted and the arms move for another 10p.

As well as some other unrelated finds like a Playstation 2 with accessories (smallest kind) for £3.00, a 16gb Playstation 3 (smallest kind) for £15.00 (no controller) but luckily I both already had one and had got another one on Saturday for £1.00.

An XBox 360 Controller S. mint condition for £1.00
A Madcatz Controller for (original Xbox) - as a spare also £1.00

I think that is most of it anyway - I was especially pleased with the Playstation 2 & 3 as both being smaller they are a better fit on my shelf.

A Good weekend for finds.

I was quite pleased as I'd previously scored a whole set of Vector Accessories a year or so ago for the white version - then I got a duplicate gold Minicon late last year and now I have two brown Minicons so aside from my Alpha Trion (and The Galaxy Force Takara one who inherits a Kabaya one) all my Vectors now have a Micron for each arm or to wear on each side in vehicle mode.

I'll keep looking though then they can have one for the top too :)

------

The other one is neat too as it means in vehicle mode the Cement truck can wear one in gun mode on the roof and another on the back in drill mode.
or in robot mode there is a sort of unofficial shoulder cannon mode so he can have one on each side now.

I like that I've done so well on early 2000's stuff lately - Oh and I also Got an Energon Deluxe Prime pistol & Ratchet gun from one of the Movie deluxes (with missile) too.

Man RAR, and fellow Brits, those car boot sales sound fun. Are they the kind of affair one might encounter a Pikey?
Neat haul!

I finally got a chance to hit the next closest Walgreens to the one I scored Chromedome and Mindwipe from.

Nice! Can we expect a pictorial review from you on those as well? I love how you aren't afraid to mess and play around with your figures and find a ton of things to do with them in your reviews so that sets them apart and makes me look forward to them a lot.

Just got wave 2 titanmasters in the mail, and grabbed Sandsting mini-con yesterday while I was out. Wheelie should be arriving sometime this week as well.
Can't wait for wave 2 deluxes to start popping up around here!

I love Skytread's colors, and the extra paint apps really help the vehicle/gun. Clobber is an improvement over Crashbash for me as well, the gunmetal plastic shows the detail much better than the grape guy(though I love the green eyes set in a purple head look on CB a lot!). I'm a fan of Brawn's rifle mode. It's a bit funky, but it's a good size and general shape. Remold the folding panels into a sleeker shape/cooler barrel(s) and it has potential to be the best titanmaster weapon in the line.
Now for my personal bummer of the lot, Apeface. Poor guy feels like a dollar store toy. The plastic is crap, and the transformation is definitely the weakest of the class size so far. The actual titanmaster head looks amazing though!

Sandsting was underwhelming but looks nice enough I suppose.

Finally got Hardhead here.. I'm... not sure how I feel about it. Bit smaller than I thought it would be (it's first time I seen a Titans deluxe in person and maybe I was just too used to the size of the G1 toy) but he's nicely styled. Head's a bit wobbly. I dunno. I paid some price for him including delivery that I paid for Galvatron from a shop. Maybe I'll like him more once he's been on my desk a while and been posed and transformed a few times.

Blurr & Scourge are currently in customs... yeah... More expense...

meh.

I was initially very umm-y and aah-y about any figure from the new line. After having the Legends Hardhead in hand, I feel new toy joy again. Last time was Victorion. Time before that was Alpha Bravo and the Aerialbots. So yes, give it some time, and see how you feel! :D

I guess. Doesn't help that I'm quite stressed at moment and looking at some financially difficulties coming up real soon that all became apparent AFTER I had made some purchases. Getting customs charges on my Takara stuff is adding to that this week too. And my meds aren't working anymore so my mood keeps dropping a lot and i feel like almost everything sucks. :P

Also is it weird that I've generally been happier with KO's than official products lately? Particularly that AoE Bumblebee and the CW Powerglide I got cheap (about £7 for PG and about £9 for BB)and turned out to be better quality than the real versions and bigger too. Maybe they've spoilt me a bit.

Anyways yeah Hardhead's not bad but I wish I hadn't paid £23 for him (including postage). When did Deluxes get so expensive? Used to get them for £10 each...

by the way how you do fix wobbly headed titans?

Argh, yes, that is a bit steep - hope new toy satisfaction sets in soonish.
(Maybe browse some images - from here on it's mostly Hardhead - from us lot who already have it, to see the FUN that it brings? :D )

Those pics are nice. Takara's Hardhead has nicer colours (particularly that slightly brownish tone where Hasbro has grey) but I still prefer mouthplate on my Hardhead (cos I was more fond of the toy than fiction of that character). He's certainly a solid figure, just perhaps not as exciting as some? One reason I like movie TF figures is the interesting and new ways of transformation and HH here seems almost identical to his simple G1 toy just with extra articulation. Still, I'm posing him about a bit with other G1 updates like Gen Arcee and Takara's version of RTS Jazz so he's making himself at home. :P

Sorry to hear both that, and about all the troubles around it. :/

Thanks. Am sure there are folks with much worse problems but it's all relative I guess. :P

An ebay shop. It was £19.99 plus few quid postage. Argos sells Deluxes for £19.99 in their actual shops and not just Titans but the older Combiner Wars deluxes too. It's crazy.

Damn... you got gipped, mate. Kapow and Toys r'us (who have a sale on previous generations figures rn) are better for prices. Though Kapow's prices right now are a little crazy. £58 for the wave 2 voyager pack? Come on.

There's no Deluxe Titans on that Toys R Us page and last time I went to one (my nearest is Cambridge which is a £6.40 bus ride) is when I got Galvatron and he was the only Titans figure there that wasn't a legends or small titans pack. And yeah I know the CW deluxes are much cheaper there (I didn't buy any of them cos I don't like combiners) which is why I'm surprised at Argos ripping people off with £19.99 on those.

Hardhead's borrowed some more guns which you would think would be overkill against someone with swords but against Bludgeon it's probably still not enough. Also
