Not Bay movies. And yes, I meant WFC Bumblebee. I'm very sorry for being so bad at conveying my thoughts and questions regarding Transformers. I've always been a Star Wars collector (which I still am) so I'm struggling to get familiar with all the characters, lingo, and lines of figures. Thanks for willing to help me out.
Her is a more organized list of figures I would please like recommendations for Earth based Vehicle modes:
-Bumblebee
-Cliffjumpee
-Jazz
-Staracream
-Skywarp
-Thundercracker
-Soundswave

Ah, there you go. You seem new to the TF fandom so allow me to give you some recomendation.

First, what scale do you want to collect? Small ones like scouts and legends? The normal ones being deluxes and slightly bigger, the voyagers? Or the big-ass ones, the leaders and masterpeices?

For the seekers, meaning starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, here are the best ones:

Deluxes: Go with the good old seeker mold. It's a very fun mold, very G1 accurate. Unfortunately, they all come from older lines, meaning they can be pretty expensive each. You get Generations TC, Universe SW, and Classic SC.
There is a set that counteain all 3. It's a expensive Takara set.
Image

As for the leader size, meaning 60$ a figure, there is the new Combiner Wars Leader Thundercracker you can get in store right now. Starscream and Skywarp are coming pretty soon.
Image
If you a rich and want perfection, you can go the MASTERPEICE route. Either the original MP-03 molds or the newer MP-11 remolds. No matter what you chose, each seekers can cost between 100 and 400$, depending on which one you want.

Left, MP-11: Perfect bot, Imperfect jet.
Right, MP-03: Imperfect bot, but perfect jet.
Image
Image

For Jazz, it's either the Generations deluxe:
Image
Or the bigger, but less accurate Alternator. Alternators have the most realistic car modes by the way. With detailed interios, rubber tires, doors that open, and a hood that show the engine.
Image
Image

Soundwave, you only have ONE option. the Masterpiece. The Hasbro box come with ALL the cassettes so you want that one. However, it's expensive as hell.

Image

Finally, Bee and Cliffjumper. You have 2 choices of deluxes for the best ones. Classic and Prime 1st Edition.

Classic:
Image
Cliffjumper is the exact same thing, but in red.
Image

Prime is a bit different. Bee is a mix between movieverse design and animated.
Cliffy is his own thing that transform in a kick-ass muscle car.
Image
Image

Finally, the most perfect G1 Bee is the Masterpeice. Takara only, is deluxe size, and is about 80$ A cliffjumper is very likely to come out.
Image

Hope that helped!

Hey man, no worries, its all good. Dont know what your budget is, but here are some recomendations. For the seekers, there are 3 molds I could easily recommend:

Classic Seeker:

Prime Seeker (called Arms Micron in japan, they have a larger toy cast):

Generations Leader Seeker:

Reveal the Shield Jazz:

Alternators Jazz

Classics Bumblebee:

First Edition Bumblebee:

Generations Bumblebee:

First Edition Cliffjumper:

GDO Cliffjumper:

Classics Cliffjumper:

For budget purposes, I didnt include masterpiece although that is always an option.

Here is the list for masterpiece galleries:http://www.seibertron.com/toys/index.php?f_series_id=43&f_subgroup=&f_name=Enter+Character+Name%28s%29&f_type=exact

And that would be your only option for Soundwave, unless you are ok with new takes. In that case, this one kicks ass:

Thanks so much guys! My budget won't allow for masterpieces but that Bumblebee may have to be an exception. I like to collect the deluxes, voyagers, and leaders primarily. As for the seekers, do you think the FOC seekers I already have safice for Earth versions? I also really like Shockwave and the one that looks the best to me is the beast hunters version, what do you all think of that Shockwave?
Another character I would like that doesn't seem to be coming out soon is Ratchet. Any recommendations for him?

I personally do not like the FOC seeker at all and I dont think it works for earth. I would suggest either the classic seeker mold or the one from Prime/arms micron.

For Ratchet, the Prime one is pretty good (search Prime robots in disguise ratchet), although a new one might come out for combiner wars. And for shockwave, there are 2. Prime Beast Hunters (as you said) and...

It's easy. If you want to try out a classic seeker mold that is not too expensive, you can get one of the bajillion they made and try it out.

Personally, I find the FOC seekers incredible. However, it would be great to display them among their Earth counterpart. The set is expensive, sure, but the individual skywarp alone is worth a fortune. So, get the set directly:
http://chimungmung.com/product_info.php?products_id=956
(On Ebay, it's double that price!)

Prime Beast Hunters Shockwave is the best one so far. Cheap, and perfect.

As for Ratchet, while waiting for the MP version, the Universe deluxe one could do the job, even though he's not considered very good.

Here's what you have to pay for each seekers separately. Don't forget that you pay shipping each times too. Warning: These may be fake knock-off. The set I recomended is sure to be the real deal.

Tons, here is a link to a discussion so as not to derail the toy haul thread too much:

http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/top-10-generations-figures-t103787s0.php

Personally, I would say you need Generations Warpath most of all.

For the seekers, you could buy them one at a time on e-ay when a good deal comes up, they usually sell for 20-30$ out of the box http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transformers-Universe-Classics-Generations-Deluxe-Class-Starscream-Complete-/201394117704?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ee4065c48

But then you have to add shipping. And that would be the hasbro version which has the lesser deco. The takara version has chrome on it, you might like that more or not. But the problem, as kanrabat alluded to, is skywarp which was never sold individually in the us.

Also, Kanrabat, e-bay has the seeker trio for around the same price, and maybe even cheaper shipping:

The Generations Warpath has actually been on my shortlist for quite a while. I think I screwed myself because I got several FOC and WFC figures because I love the game so much but they really don't go with the rest of the earth based transformers, so now I'm spending even more money to get the same characters but in their earth modes. Ugh.

You were happy when you got them and they represent characters you loved in a game, that is all you need to think about. The only reason people love most Masterpiece toys (not all) is not because they are particularly smart, original or fresh and ingenious takes on Transformer toys but because they are mostly a perfect representation of characters a lot of people feel very close to. Soundwave just turns into a rectangular prism (which isnt even perfect in the back) and taken out of context, he could be a silly toy. BUT, since he is the best representation of a character one loves, he becomes the best toy ever. And now you have had the same thing happen with you, at a fraction of the price :) And you dont have to wait 20-30 years to have the perfect rendition of the character model you like from the game (unlike people who watched the G1 show back in 84) but you can have them now, and you did. I look at it that way.

Dont feel pressure to buy toys you dont need. And in any case, the current comics dont have earth based behicles. That Generations Skywarp you got actually does go well with other generations figures because that is how it is in the comics. He had that body while others (including seekers) had different bodies. It helped differentiate the three seekers.

Image

Just remember that you are not forced to buy anything. Just get what you like and you will never regret it. And nobody can dictate "what the rules of who to include on your shelf" are. You can make up the rules :)

I appreciate the words of wisdom WJ. As a collector, I often feel like I have to purchase things in order for my collection to be "complete" even if I don't really want it (which is something I need to work on). But anyways, on eBay I put a cart together with all three seekers individually and it adds up to $100 instead of $140 if I got the 3-pack. I really want to get the earth versions of the seekers because Starscream is slowly becoming my favorite character as I progress through the G1 cartoon.

I am glad you were able to find a reasonable rate for that skywarp then. And its a good thing you want them and like the characters :) If you like Starscream, you are in for a real treat. This year, Toysrus is finally releasing the Masterpeice Hasbro version of Starscream. It was on preorder for a very small price considering what you are getting out of it but is now sold out. I would suggest you keep an eye out on this listing if ever it comes back in stock: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=62615996&cp=&parentPage=search

Hey joe,
That is the Classics mold. Not sure which deco that is as there have been a couple of releases of that mold of Starscream.
I've been peeping on this conversation, and so far Will and Kan have not lead you astray.
