We can put the call out in the ODB and see if we can help out as a group. I'm up to 3 bagged spares at the moment and can get hold of about another 10 locally but it might take a few of us to help out with 2 full sets. Should be handy for getting all of us up to a full set if we're looking too. Out the door to work shortly, but will put the call out tonight.

Ok. I'm more of a lurker than an active member but this is worth reporting. UK members should check out their local Morrisons supermarkets. Picked a few up today and got Heavytread, Suppressor and Boltflash. Heavytread's hip joints were broke out of package... oh, and the "energon" sweets taste like crap =/

To our US readers, sweets is the British word for candy.
He has also supplied us with a photo of one of the blind-packs:

The Mini-Cons inside of these packs are supposed to have different decoes than their original KMart release, also these blind-packs might be exclusive to the UK as the sweets inside are UK made.
One pack costs GBP 1.99, Wasp-shot23 found his at a Tesco service station.
There are 12 Mini-Cons to collect.
Here are some more images showing the difference between the original and new UK Brimstone:

I didn't manage to get out of town to a Morrisons today and will be pulling overtime tomorrow, but did clear out the last of my local Tesco's stock. Managed to replace my dodgy Brimstone and add Boltflash to the tally, still looking for Backstop and Cloudraker. I'll do the rest of the comparisons and try to add photos of side by sides with the previous versions once I've got them all in hand. The rest of the spares have been added to the pile I'm building for JRFitzpatrick7, getting close to the goal of 2 full bagged sets now. If anyone can help with the last few, or the guys I'm still missing to finish off the comparison article give me a shout.

Hey all!!

Im not much of a forum person but was doing some research on these sweets and the only proper information I can find is on this site. So Ive joined up to share :), and to be honest I probably should have anyway as I do use this site quite a bit for my collection.
Enough dribble, I was wondering if people still wanting/collecting these??

I hadnt seen them before at all until last week at a Tesco petrol station. And I asked about whether they were new in, or were old stock found in the warehouse (the store has just had a re-vamp) and I was told they were new in. But im still not sure as the copyright year is 2010, but the best before date is May 2012.

Ive picked up quite a few and have a set of 8 different ones now. If anyone out there wants/needs them, I will happily go buy the rest, unless they have been rolled out across the whole of the uk again. Anyone else know?

So if you are interested, let me know. I know I can get at least 10 more packets, and I can leave them sealed and post them wherever. Hope someone reads this!

THANKS!

First off welcome to the forums.

WARNING! SEIBERTON CONTAINS NUTS!!!

Which 4 are you missing? I've still got a few spares after putting a couple of full sets together that you'd be welcome to.

Hey!!

A reply! Fantastic!

Thanks for the welcome! Though not sure how often ill post or anything. I will try and make an effort, and im a bit of a nut myself, so i guess im in good company :).

I was mainly writing as I read people were trying to get complete sets together and thought I could help out maybe as like I said I dont know if these are new ones, or ones that are old stock just been put out. I bought 8 and got 8 different ones!! Dont know if that was lucky or not! Ive only opened suppressor, incase someone wanted a sealed one (one of his joints was already a bit broken aswell =(). If I dont get many replies ill open them all, I have to transform them :). Just going to look at the list now. Thankyou so much! It would save me buying more, and you only get like 4 or 5 sweets, which sucks. Very awesome =D. Let me see, im missing.....

Makeshift, Knockdown, Flatfoot and Skyhammer.

If you do have spares, what would you want in return =D?

There is someone attempting to sell some on ebay at the moment to.

Anywho, thanks so much!!!!!

Just had a rummage through my spares bag and couldn't find a Knockdown or Skyhammer, but I can send you a Flatfoot and a Makeshift. No charge, just send me your address via private message and I'll pop them in a jiffy bag during the week. I've been giving these away with trades and I'm just happy to see them go to a good home. If you are going to track down the last 2 the cheapest option is probably to buy them through ebay. They'll work out a bit pricier than a blind bag off the shelf but a lot cheaper than buying lots of doubles trying to get that last elusive figure.

Hey UK friends. I'm interested in tracking down the 8 pack of European exclusives that included gray tank and plane (Ironside and Airlift) plus dark brown/rust submarine. Give a shout (by PM) if any leads. I truly appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks sincerely!!

Weapon: Dual Photon Launchers
From what I remember we only got one series of the mini-cons with sweets here in the UK. I saw a gift set ages ago with 8 to 10 minicons under the Universe line.

I've a few of the sweet minicons still in baggies as my fumbling skills sucked back then, and I ended up with a fare few doubles lol

I'll not be home until tomorrow, so will check what I have then and let you know.

Yeah, if you had doubles I might be interested in the ones that were significantly different from USA. I remember the dragon was bright colored green for one. I'll have to dig again for differences, but certainly shoot me a PM to let me know which you find dupes of. Cheers, my friend!

Check ebay for French sellers for the 8 pack, it had a limited release over there and that's where I scored mine, can't see any up at the moment though.

Yea that Universe set showed up for like 5 minutes, I believe it was exclusive to Whooly's which closed down at the time.

Weapon: Battle Blades
It shows up on ebay twice a year, if that, and goes for about $200+. Good luck man, there are a lot of us that want this set, myself included, but it's extremely rare.

Look for "Iron Claw" and "Airlift" - these two have had sparse, but at least existent, single packed releases in the US.
Listen to me ramble about robots on the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast.
Every once in a blue moon I write stuff about things on my blog.
I have a lot of Transformers, check them out on my shmax.com page.
Looking for Grandus Radar Dishes, Micromaster Spinner, and Star Saber's Rifle. PM me if you have these for sale!

I really appreciate that info. Will help me in searching... and budgeting. LOL. I'm really wanting it on a whim because I like the colors, so ... quite a shame the price is that high. Maybe I can locate an opened package that the rest of you guys are less interested in.

Good hunting!

Or under £20 including international shipping that I paid for mine. French and Czech listings, ignore stuff from the English speaking countries where people are looking for silly money.
