Hello! :D

I have a question dealing with Transformers War for Cybertron continuity.
I've heard from different places that it's part of G1, but I've also heard it's a prequel to Transformers: Prime.
so does anyone know? :???:

The way I think it works is that the game is official pre-history of the G1 TV series.

The new Prime cartoon is still fuzzy as to what the exact details are, other than they've got Peter Cullin to do Prime's voice again.

just like pretty much every other TF story, this is it's own unique continuity. It isn't a prequel to G1's TV show or comics, without some major issues (not that either of those didn't contract themselves from time to time) and while it might be a lead-in to Prime or whatever, it doesn't need to be, and the Exodus tie-in novel to the game itself seems to be a slightly different continuity.

Basically, don't worry about it too much.

The game, accompanied by the book, is the official history of the transformers. It is set in the time before they left Cybertron and headed to Earth. So, it is Pre-G1.

They also explained how the Quintessons played a role in Transformers history, as well as showing Minicons as a part of Cybertronian society.
