Well now that you've started down this path I demand Inferno with the caption "FOR THE COLONY!"

There really isn't a helmet that fits Inferno's design, and the mandible things he has wouldn't look right simply painted on him. I suppose I could make up a part, though these were intended to be easily replicated with the actual minifigures and some paint.

Dinobot:
Image

Skystalker and Sunspot:
Image
Getting extra Shockwave helmets could be a pain as no one else currently uses that part.

Can't have Dinobot without Rattrap. Well, you can, but it's not really the same:
Image
Took forever to find the right helmet (I'm against anything but the brain-dome). It comes from one of the humans with a rounded helmet perfect for painting Rattrap's "brains" on.
I'm sticking with the no-noses style Kreons have, even if Rattrap, Dinobot, and Demolishor look a bit off because of it. Course, if you plan on customizing these yourself go nuts with the noses.

Armada Thrust (a.k.a. Squidhead)
Image
To my knowledge Thrust never used flamethrowers but they seemed like a natural enough weapon for him. His hands are, after all, the jet's engines. Plus, his toy had "fiery" paint there.
(it's totally not because I've adopted Movie Dreadwing as my Squidhead, no siree)

Animated Blitzwing:
Image
Dirge's wing-support-doohickey has a port, perfect for Bludgeon's turret.
The three faces could perhaps be painted on just one head, though only one of them would have a chin. And there's the chance of rubbing the paint off.
Ze itzy bitzy zpider krawled up ze wahter spout...

Movie Bonecrusher:
Image
This one requires a little bit of cutting, specifically on the faceplate to give it "teeth."
There's also probably a dozen different ways to configure Bonesy's claw, some perhaps better than what is basically Scorponok's tail pictured above.

Prime Dead End:
Image
I'd totally get glow-in-the-dark paint for the green parts.

How about a G1 Grimlock?

I'd like to get to the Dinobots, though there are a few lesser known TFs I want to cover first.

Signal Lancer! Hooray obscure non-vehicular/bestial Transformers!
Image
He takes a bit more liberties than the others given his helmet, signal-shoulder-pads, and lance aren't easily replicated with current parts. Not to mention his green light needed to actually be green. Speaking of the green, I can't help but think there needs to be another spot of it, given how the red and yellow lights are echoed in the head, but where to put it?

I know he doesn't actually have green arms or hands, but I think he should have one of the two...

Paying homage to my most favorite group of Transformers, the Fuzors!

Bantor - He was all mandrill before Ratchet put a tiger in his tank!
Image
Slight mod: the helmet is Bludgeon/Vehicons' with the 'chinstrap' snipped off.
I seriously hope the beast-head can actually be held by/attached to the hand somehow.

Buzzclaw - Colors EVERYWHERE
Image
Like Waspinator, "bald" is better than any of the available helmets.
I'm not sure how well it reads, but the mantis head is made up of Spinister/Scorponok's chest piece (the eyes) with a ramp-type block on top (the red/orange part), while the mandibles are merely painted on the chest.

Kreons really need more beast parts...

I've got two for today.

Lockdown:
Image
The chainsaw-hand comes the "Alien Commander" from the Battleship Kreons, which have a lot of interesting parts I hope get carried over to the TF line. "Combat Diver" could easily be straight repainted as Sea Spray.

Grimlock in glorious G2 (he, along with Slag and Snarl, were the first TFs I recall owning)
Image
I think a pair of Optimus' smokestacks on Dirge's wing-support-doohickey does a fine enough job evoking Grim's teeny Tyrannosaurus arms, if in an abstract implied way.

Who swims the ocean, and always looks great?

Sky-Byte, that's him!

Sky-Byte involves a slight mod: gluing the spike/horn/claw bit that comes with the Predacons onto Airachnid/Knockout's helmet.

That guy with the flamethrower from the first episode of G1. No, not Sunstorm, he didn't have a flamethrower, the other guy.

Unused G2 Seeker "Sandstorm"

The Rainmakers - these guys would be perfect for a set like the Vehicons and Autotroopers were in

By sliding a cylindrical piece (such as the ones used for Kreon Scorponok's claws) over the wrist, you can peg a beast-head helmet on over the hand. I just tested it out, and it works fine :)

Noideaforaname wrote:Kreons really need more beast parts...

Agreed! We really need a decent bug-like and bird-like head. Previews show that they made a shark head for the Sharkticon and for Rippersnapper (Rippersnapper actually switches between a regular helmet and the shark one to transform. I'm betting we'll see a Sky-Byte in the future!)

Hope you'll do more of these in the near future....

Dr. Morocco

the Insecticons: Kickback, Bombshell, and Shrapnel (obviously, this was drawn before I knew about Wave 2 and 3)

the other Insecticons: Barrage, Venom, Ransack, and Chop Shop

Terradive

Tux the GoBot
Image
Trypticon
Image
the Dreads: Crankcase, Hatchet, and Crowbar

Image
The Fallen - couldn't decide if his Staff should be plain or seemingly made of fire, so tried out both; I suppose if he were ever to be animated it'd reflect his mood (i.e. plain when calm, fiery when pissed off)
