TRU Japan Free Gift - Transformers EZ Col. Dark Side Optimus Prime

Takara Tomy has launch another campaign to promote the Transformers Dark Side Moon movie in Japan (scheduled to screen on 29th July 2011 in Japan) and the Dark Side Moon toy line.

This time is the special edition Transformers EZ Collection Dark Side Optimus Prime will be given out to customers that purchase of Takara Tomy Dark Side Moon figures for a total of Japanese Yen 3000 at Toys R Us Japan.

The campaign is scheduled to start on 12th August 2011. While stock lasts.

why do people continue to call dark of the moon, "dark SIDE of the moon"? it annoys the hell out of me :BOOM: the movie is not a pink Floyd song damn it!!! its DARK OF THE MOON!

It's not people, its just the japanese... Due to "grammatical" laws in japanese and chinese too for that matter, it comes out as dark side of the moon when translated to english. :lol:
But really, free? damn i want that! its the ghost of RID scourge!

Yeah, this is what the Japanese called the movie.... Right or wrong, it doesnt matter... We just follow what they listed.
Dark Side Moon, not Dark Side of the Moon.....

Just like MP-09 Rodimus Convoy, not Rodimus Prime....

Not bad translation, more like creative liberties considering the limits of Japanese phonetics: the Japanese can't say "of" like we do, due to their f's being closer to an "h". Revenge of the Fallen was just called "Revenge" for the same reasons.

And I want that toy!

o.O...I think it sounds cool. And like 2-3 people already said it's "Dark Side Moon".

He looks awesome but I dont really dig the transclucent parts and plus after I already bought the CV Optimus,the legends version of Optimus suddenly looks crappy xD.
