I missed TRU Masterpiece Grimlock in stores but found a guy that has him new in box for $135, I know he was $70 in stores but is this a good deal or should I pass until I come across a cheaper one? I love collecting transformers but even more so, getting a good deal.

I would get him. I think that's a good deal. I have never regretted purchasing that figure, and he's easily one of the best in my collection.

If it's MISB, and you have money to throw around, get it. But otherwise, you'll probably find him closer to $100 if you are patient and don't require MISB.

$135.00 for a MISB US version is a pretty good price. He was in limited stores and sold out rather quickly. I think I saw 1, maybe 2 restocks...total. Once he was gone, he was gone.

I picked up TRU MP Grimlock for the $135 also scored Generations red alert & blur new for $35 for the pair. And got robbed for $60 on a MISB RID Optimus Prime.

From what I remember very bright silver paint with blue covering limbs, deeper looking gold and red accent on sword. I personally prefer the look of the TRU Grimlock best but would love to get my hands on the red accent sword.
