My MP Grimlock had basically one pose - standing. If you pulled legs apart a little for a slightly wider stance, he would automatically do the splits and fall over. If i just held him and tried to move his leg up laterally, it would just droop back to a standing pose. Forget any knee bent stances since the hip swivel was super loose too. I went online an looked at pics of how others had him posed. Mine would not even come close any of those besides just standing there.
I am seriously fed up with Hasbro QC. I remember several years ago when they released classics Devastator - i returned him 3 times because the combiner connectors wouldn't hold a connection. Eventually found a decent one and kept it. I'm surprised Hasbro doesn't loose a lot money over that.
Dammit, a $60 TF should at least be able to look like he's dancing.

I really don't wanna have to get both like I'm guessing a lot of fans have. Do they both come with the same accessories? And do they both do the flip of the eyes feature? My enquiring mind gots to know!!

Short version! Takara = sword, blaster, apron, bow tie, drinks, mind transfer helmet, sharp teeth and claws.
Hasbro = sword, blaster, crown, very slightly dulled teeth and claws. Oh, and apparently the Hasbro version has a few more paint apps on his legs and arms.

Initially Toys r us online had it listed for $59.99. For a short time they bumped it up to $64.99. Then they raised it to $69.99.

Takara King Grimlock Version = avg 200 bucks
Takara version = avg 140 bucks

Hope that gets you off the fence

Mine didn't work out of package, which scared me. I checked the batteries, they were in the right way, put them back, hit the button on accident and it lit up. Might just need to shift them back into place or something.

So, i opened up the batteries and tinkered with them awhile ago, and they still don't work. This sucks, my first masterpiece and one of the cooler features doesn't work.
