I kinda wish Star Trek the next generation TV series lasted longer. for me this was the best of all the star trek TV series.

I wish Dragon ball GT lasted longer. it was kinda sad to see one of my favorite anime series end.

Transformers generation one cartoon. I wish would have gone on longer. it would have been cool to see hasbro's vision of powermasters, pretenders, micromasters & action masters. yes i'm aware takara did headmasters, masterforce, victory & zone.

Gilligans Island,I wish had more episodes. the show feels like it only has under 50 episodes. I've seen every episode literally a dozen times.

The honey mooners in another show that I wish lasted longer. another great show that feels like it only has under 20 epiodes.

I always thought Enterprise should have gone on alot longer. Scott Bakula was a great captain and i like i his acting chops (loved quantum leap as a kid) plus the Vulcan T'Pol (Jolene Blalock) was super duper hawt!! The series was a refreshing take on the Star Trek franchise as a whole and the pin was pulled way too early.

I also would have liked the He-Man 200x cartoon to have lasted longer as well. Loved the animation in that show. The animation was fantastic. Plus the "maturity" that this reboot brought to the franchise was sorely needed.

I miss King of the Hill, and it pissed me off that after 13 or 14 seasons Fox barely gave any fanfare for their final episode.

No one mentioned "Good Guys" on Fox

Only lasted a yr :-( God I loved that show.

I would love to see a G1 styled(or god forbid continuation) cartoon for Transformers, no anime influenced garbage or I'm ready to puke due to CGI.

I loved the Good Guys too, why does Fox always cancel good shows?

#2 Azumanga Daioh--The anime series wish they had drawn it out.

well....it did have 13 episodes! which is usually considered a season on Netflix nowadays!

mind you...it also had some well known actors in the cast....Bent Spiner, Peter Dinklage & the very sexy Carla Gugino.

mine would be....erm

The Sarah Connor Chronicles.....should've kept going! & more so now...that they've pulled the plug on any more Terminator films for the time being, after Genysis.

Warehouse 13.....ran for 5 seasons...but they should've also kept on going! a hole which is now being kinda filled by The Librarians.

The Lone Gunmen.....ran for one season
...kind of an offshoot or sister show to the X Files! but now that the X Files are back(if a rather limited return....6 episodes) & that the Lone Gunmen are to appear in one of these new episodes....then maybe a further Lone Gunmen series is a possibility?

oh btw the ones i mentioned above....could also maybe appear.....as a Netflix series of some sort(a bit like DareDevil & Jessica Jones has done)......maybe with KickStarter or something.....who knows?

Well I still worship the ground this drove on and STILL want more...
(so long as it's done right)

Incidentally Street Hawk is the only time I've felt strongly enough about something to write fan fiction about it I love it so much.

I guess the reason I liked it so much was it wasn't just "Quest of the week" stuff like Knight Rider often was - and I was as much a Buddy show with the uneasy developing friendship between Jesse and Norman and the personality clashes. as well as the ways they also complemented each other good and bad points too.

Norman tried to teach Jesse more self discipline and focus, where as Jesse extreme behaviours sometime lead to him finding ways to use the bike Norman didn't even think were possible or safe.

Even though the show didn't last long you really did get the feeling by the end of the series that Streethawk was as much the result of both Norman and Jesse and the bike and that as a unit with one not the same the thing just wouldn't work as well.

In a way I'd say the whole show was about Synergy for me. I also appreciated how Jesse was quite reluctant to use excessive force but he also wasn't as fake about it as the A-team either and did still show anger and indeed did well "Kill" when he was really miffed - but it was never his first resort - I liked that & I respected that.

i've also got Street Hawk on dvd too!(& the music from Street Hawk has been on YouTube for a while now)

+ it also had George Clooney in it(at least in one episode)

Rex Smith did this a while back!

meanwhile the Hoff keeps on banging on about a Knight Rider movie he wants to do but nothing ever comes to fruition!

Well hoff did appear in that short lived sequel series that aired not too long ago but I don't put much stock into what he says mind.

I wish they made more of The Finder but I suppose with the death of one of the key cast members it was never going to work.

A few more oddities I would of liked to see more:

Space Precinct and if anime is allowed to be included then I would love guyver to see a second season to continue with the chronos rule storyline and to see gigantic dark in action.

The one show I miss the most is Prehistoric Park, a British docu-drama-thing that aired in 2006. It was about nature presenter Nigel Marven using a time portal to bring Dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals to the 21st century and putting them in what I think was supposed to be a private menagerie (they don't explain it very well). Marven and his crew would start by looking for a specific extinct animal, like a T-Rex, a Mammoth, a Microraptor etc., and while they would always get what they were looking for, they would also bring back some other animal they didn't set out to get, like a Triceratops, a Woolly Rhino and a herd of Sauropods.

The show only ran for six episodes, and while it wasn't exactly the most original TV show ever made (trying to do the "Dinosaur zoo in the modern day" premise of Jurassic Park in the style of a nature documentary), it was still a good show and I always thought it was a shame they didn't make a second season.

I''m going to go with Almost Human, a really cool future-city sci fi series with Karl Urban. And robots. Fox bollixed it up, of course, and showed the episodes out of order, and it got cancelled after one season, which irks me so much, because the writers CLEARLY had all sorts of cool stuff they wanted to reveal, like what was outside The Wall, etc.

I know it's been a few years, but Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen was hilarious. Without him, I'm surprised it lasted 4 more seasons. I wish Charlie had stayed on the show. It probably would have ran just as long, and had been much funnier.

I know its brand new, but I just finished stranger Things yesterday and I already wish it had more seasons, like..now.

Other than that, probably Young Justice, Beast Wars (ayyy), and, honestly, Space Dandy

They should definitely bring Challenge Of The Gobots back(some actually want a live action movie) but seeing as we've already got the likes of Rescue Bots nowadays, i doubt Bandai ever will bring the Gobots back(oh & btw there was later Gobots cartoon episodes...4 of them....i think? that was more like RB....i believe it was called Transformers Go-Bots)

You are probably the first person to ever say that.

Stuartmaximus wrote:i doubt Bandai ever will bring the Gobots back

Bandai doesn't own Gobots itself, only the toys and their likenesses. The story and characters themselves are owned by Tonka...who was bought out in 1991 by Hasbro.
