Welcome to the latest edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host for the evening, Counterpunch along with the regular cast ScottyP, Jon 3.0, Rotorstorm, and Tigertrack.

Episode 91 "History Lesson" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.

We decided to change it up this week and start off with your listener questions! We received two questions that brought us down memory lane and even made us put our thinking caps on!

Image

The Windblade comic has finally came out and the response from the fans seem pretty good... but what does the cast think? Guess you’ll have to tune in to find out!

Image

Next up we dive into the latest Age of Extinction galleries that have been posted to Seibertron!

Crosshairs definitely has one stylish vehicle mode but what is up with those 3D goggles on his head!?

Image

We discuss our thoughts on the new dinobot figures, which we've all agreed are pretty awesome!
Image

Up next we'll give our thoughts on our favorite shelf-warmer Bumblebee along with Grimlock and Optimus from Age of Extinction.

Image

We have some awesome news that just came from the Takara camp…a G1 deco Slug! Does this mean more G1 deco dinobots are in the works? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

Image

New images of Takara's "Movie Advanced" line have surfaced and we discuss our thoughts on this new figure line.

Image

Closing out our toy talk...we saved the best for last... it's FAT TANKOR!

Image

Photos were taken at JoeCon 2014 that shows us some of the new head sculps for this years club toys. We are pretty excited for one of these guys, but you'll have to tune in to hear what we thought of the rest!

Image

Now, is anyone surprised that subscription figures have been delayed until late May?

Image

We then close out the night talking about some bragging rights. What stuff did we score this week?

Image

Thanks everyone for listening and we appreciate the continued support! Don't forget, the show only gets better if you tell us how. Drop us a review on iTunes and be sure to tell us what you love, what you hate, and what you want to hear!

Not on the show to give your take? Probably not, so don't forget to keep the discussion going on the Seibertron.com Energon Pub Forums by simply replying to this post!

Got a question for the Twincast? We take all of them, we just don't take them all seriously! Leave a question in the Ask the Twincast thread and, if it makes the cut, it may get read and answered on the show.

This was a fun episode to record. I hope everyone gets a few laughs out of it like I did.

Thanks for another great podcast, folks. A few comments:

(1) Scotty P =/= Jewish. Good to know. If the podcast ever needs a friendly neighborhood Jewish person to chime in, I happily offer my services! ;)

(2) So much hate on Evasion Prime! I personally he think the mold looks really nice, but concede that he needs a Takara paint job & faceplate to be exciting. The Hasbro deco with the open face is just so bland.

(3) On bragging rights, my Dr. Wu Blitzwing upgrade arrived today, and I like it. The yellow helmet is a great matte yellow (almost a golden yellow), and the face is really nice. The removable face feature is unnecessary, but appreciated; I must admit, it is cool to see the skeletal eyes behind that visor. The gun is a vast improvement over the original, with translucent red bits throughout. And finally, the new shoulder pieces puts pressure on, and locks in, the inner shoulder slot/tab assembly. As far as shoulder fixes go, it's acceptable. Overall, glad I went with this over the SXS offering.

The bs sessions are the most fun while recording, just like to have a balance where it doesn't become a rambling 3-4 hour show that mentions Transformers for one hour or so of that time. Input taken though, there are certainly times we can lighten the mood :D

Link to the one you picked up? Didn't know there were good upgrades around for that figure, but definitely curious!

Sure thing -

BBTS: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=DWU10050&mode=retail
Captured Prey: http://www.capturedprey.com/store/thirdparty/3p_dr_wu/dr_wu_dwp17_blitzwing

I have to reiterate my affection for the set - the color matching is spot on, the gun is intimidating, the shoulder fixes work, and the head is greatly improved. Highly recommended! :x

I think I share some of what was said about collecting. Long haul? No, not really.
I left for a long time, came back in 2009, did a bit of a binge and am now selling off stuff again. I have limited space, pick out a lot more stuff rather than getting everything, and just give myself more time, space and attention for each figure I do pick up - which tend to be themed (beasts from BH and the upcoming dinoknights together, for example), rather than continuity or cast or whatever. Though my Italian display is mostly by 'line': movieverse, Animated, Prime and Generations.

(And for some reason, I have my personal limit of 100 figures maximum. Over that, and I reconsider the collection. No real reason, as I said, just a personal choice!)

Do you all want some Cadbury's stuff from the UK? :D

Ironhide in Windblade is pretty amazing, I also have to agree. The rest of my opinion is in the review of course. But those covers. THOSE COVERS.

Agreed, Va'al. I want everything in the world to be like those covers. :x

Now, to find a ridiculously skilled photoshop artist to help alter that snarling Starscream into a newer profile image...

The "Twincast Taste Test" sounds like a marvelous idea.

Or, a simple who-can-fit-the-most-eggs-in-their-mouths-at-once challenge! (My money's on Jon3.0)

As council to the Podcast Staff, I'm going to advise you to sit that one out Claire. :D

I just imagined actual eggs as opposed to Cadbury eggs, for some reason, and it was even more hilarious.
