The movies website Movie Web recently caught up with actor Tyrese Gibson, better known as sgt. Epps from the Michael Bay Transformers movies. The actor sat down and talked about his role in the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

"Yes, my character has been upgraded to Master Sergeant Epps. I am the top dog in the air force. I am a master sergeant. I am bringing on way more air strikes. Michael Bay really beefed up my presence in this sequel. I was really happy about that. Just being on the set with all of my cast members really made me feel like we'd created a family union. I think we created something that is really special. The fans out there really showed up and made us feel appreciated for what we did. It felt good to be working on something that the world is waiting to see".

"No. I can't. I'm sorry. It's all secrets. Its way more robots. There are a whole bunch of new robots that the world is going to be introduced to. There is going to be way more action sequences. All of the stuff that goes on is really insane. What I love the most? I can purposely say this. I have never done nothing in my life, or been a part of anything in my life, where I feel like ever man, woman, and child in the world is going to see something that I've been in. And it's a lot of pressure. It is something...I don't know. It's just a lot of pressure. It's like someone telling you that, while it might be a messed up comparison, a tsunami is going to hit in seven months. And you can see the tsunami before it comes. How do you prepare for that? That's how I look at Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It is just so big, and just so gargantuan. It is just really amazing. I am glad to be a part of it. Michael Bay is amazing. Spielberg, Shia, Josh, Megan. Also, you guys should be looking out for Matthew Marsden. He is a British actor. He was the head of the UK forces that are tied into the film. It is going to be pretty crazy. I want to leave you with this fan hotline number, because I am so hands on. I communicate with my fans directly. I have a number, and it's free. I am not making any money on it. Nor are the fans charged for calling. The phone number is (818) 287-8968. It is just full throttle communications with the fans. They can reach out and make whatever suggestions they want to make. Or whatever. I am always looking to better myself in all areas".

I am looking forward to this movie. I'm really hoping there'll be less human cheesyness and more robot action in this one.

First thing that came to his mind maybe? If this movie really feels that big to him- and he's IN it- this is going to be crazy. More action, more robots...I'm starting to feel the love.

I have to say too that the fan hotline is a major surprise...and, I think, a classy move on his part. Seems like an okay type of guy...

Ah, if only he knew that no one cares about the human characters in this movie...

Master Sergeant isn't really that top dog in the AF. If he said Chief Master Sergeant Epps, his assessment would be a little more believable.

Maybe he gave us the phone number of someone he really hates, so they'll get flooded with calls from internet nerds...

I'm no chicken I called it.

It's just Tyrese thanking his fans for following his career and saying he will keep them up to date in the future. So you can be informed when he's got a new message. It was weird it sounded cheap like a voice mail, go ahead and call no charges.

Yawn, we get it, it's going to be huge, now tell us some juicy stuff about the plot. Not only that but I think Tyrese needs a bit of an ego check.

ah,if only he knew that no one cares about the human characters in this mvoie...

I do actually...

Well it be very believible for someone to gotten promoted to atleast master sergent for helping stop a global threat. Though as a senior master sgt(E8) or chief master Sgt (E9) you might get put somewhere as a more supervisor role then, so a master sgt likely highest rank guy you d see in the field, especially since hes like in charge some anti bot unit.

This from my own experience from the air force back in 1997. Always was a huge fan of jets (aerial bots, skyfire, and the seekers) only fitting I went there and worked on F-16s hehe.
