Here it is folks, my next project (and hopefully I'll actually be able to finish this one, if real life stuff allows it). Based on the Ultimate comics, this fanfic will reinvent Transformers, until the point where you'll scratch your head at all the changes. But remember: Change can be refreshing every once in a while. Enjoy.
ISSUE 01: Project Launch
Darkness. No sight, no smell, no sound, no thought. Just the knowledge that something was nearby, and that it was watching him.
???:
?Online.?
Suddenly, a sound, and with the sound came sight. But it wasn?t what he expected. A red grid, with static inside the small squares.
???:
?Activate sensor relays.?
The static disappeared, and he saw for the first time. A large, white and sterile room greeted him, and he wasn?t sure if he would have rather had this then the darkness.
???:
?Activate head movement.?
It was almost as if a lock around his neck was released, and he instinctly cracked his neck, as if he had just woken up. Suddenly he heard a few startled gasps, and a different man chuckling.
??? 2:
??Not alive?, hmmn mister Rogers??
He managed to look around, but saw nothing on his eyelevel. Suddenly he realized where the voices were coming from, and he looked down at the ground, and saw rather peculiar creatures. And then with the same suddenness, he realized that they were far more important then him, and would decided over his fate. How...Peculiar. What was so important about these creatures?

?Professor Blackrock...?
??? 2/ Professor Blackrock:
?Oh, sorry, my mistake. *Ahum* Engage motorary abilities.?
Now it was as if locks all over his body were released. The change startled him, but for some reason he managed to adapt, and made his first steps, away from the platform he was standing on. The easiness with which he did it scared him. Was this really the first time he was awake?
??? 3:
?Pretty damned impressive, professors. Now show me why it was 10 billion dollars worth.?
???:
?Of course, general Fury. Autonomous Robot One, engage transformation.?
He recognized the voice-command, and found himself mumbling something before his entire body started to change. Some parts liquified and became new parts, others rearranged...Then, after two seconds of this strange body-altering process, he found himself being something...Else. Something else with a different sight...He saw things from behind, infront, the sides, and all at once. It was a frightening experience, yet he knew he was always meant to do that...
??? 3/ General Fury:
?Nice ride. So you went with the red pickup truck after all??
Blackrock:
?Yes. We originally wanted to use it for the ?Ironhide? prototype, but because of the problems with the development line, we decided to use it for this model version. We?ll probably fit him with a new alternate mode later on because of the whole ?soccer moms ripping on SUVs? thing, but that?s all in the future.?
???:
?Let?s continue with the presentation, shall we? *Ahem* Drive a lap, evasive manouvers.?
Something rumbled inside of him, and a loud roar emerged. An engine? Yes, that was what it was, and with it came the realization what he had to do. He let his engine roar as he started driving, and found out the white room was much larger then he expected. But this wasn?t important as he performed several professional evasive manouvers, and he knew he was doing a good job as another few excited mumbles arose from the small crowd.
???:
?Engage transformation, combat mode.?
His body started changing again, and he found himself in the state in which he awakened. No wait, something was different...His sights were enhanced, and a Heads Up Display informed him of everything he saw. But that wasn?t it...He then realized his arms had changed. One had large, doublebarreled cannons mounted on the forearm, and the other had a massive rifle emerging from his lower arm and hold in place by his hand. He instinctively squeezed it, and relished the cold feel of the weapon, making him somehow feel more confident.
???:
?Engage combatmode. Targets: Drone rocketmen.?
He could hear something liftoff. Jetpacks. He quickly turned around, and blasted the first red and gold object he saw, rendering it to a molten heap. Another red and gold Rocketman came flying towards him, and he could hear it?s weapons activating. Quickly he jumped down to avoid the laserfire, and rolled before kneeling and shooting down the second Rocketman. His HUD told him there was one more left, but where? Wait, a whistling sound....He quickly rolled away, and was barely able to dodge a chaff explosion. He quickly recovered, and looked at the last Rocketman, noticing that it was armed with two grenadelaunchers...And suddenly both weapons were fired! Thinking quickly, he transformed, barely dodging the chaff explosions. He spinned around to get behind the Rocketman and, before it could regist what was happening, transformed before blasting it out of the sky with his own wristmounted weapons. He watched the parts fall down, but was then surprised to hear the small crowd mumble.
Fury:
?Professors...WHY did it transform when it WASN?T being told to??
It? Why was he called an it? And what was wrong doing what he felt was natural in a combat situation?
???:
?It learned to use the transformation as an extra tactic...Strange, we didn?t use that in the trials.?
Blackrock:
?No, we thought it would overload his body...?
He wasn?t understanding what they were talking about. Trial runs? This was the first time he came into existence...Or wasn?t it? He was interrupted by a chuckle, and a strange smell arose with it. He turned around before looking down, and recognized the person, and then realized what it was he smelled...
Tony Stark:
?Oh, just consider it a small bonus, you bunch of nitpicks. We have a giant robot here!?
...Alcohol.
Rogers:
?We already have oversized walking tincans.?
Tony Stark:
?True. BUT...Do they transform? Or are more agile then me when I?m in my armor? Come on guys, we are talking about a revolution in weapondevelopment!?
A few excited mumbles as Tony Stark said that. Wait, a weapon? A WEAPON?!
?NO.?
His first word. A word filled with disgust, which made the humans look at him in surprise. But he didn?t care. He wanted them to look.
General Fury:
?Professor....?
???:
?I-I have no idea, sir...Probably j-just a glitch. AutoBot One, stand down!?
?NO! No glitch, no weapon, NO DEATH!?
The humans tensed up, but he didn?t care. He would not let this happen.
Tony Stark:
?This isn?t supposed to happen, is it??
Blackrock:
?N-No, sir. Wait, let me try. AutoBot One, engage manual stasis lock!?
?NOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo.......?
Then the darkness returned. But then, he opened his eyes...
??? 5:
?O.P.!? O.P.!?! Stand up, we?ve got to go!?
...To find someone standing over him...Someone who he realized looked almost the same as him, but with a much more pale frame color...
?..Who...??
??? 5:
?There?s no time, brother! We have to move, NOW! THEY?RE COMING!?
He managed to look around, and was startled to find that the sterile, white room was replaced by a burning farm, large pieces of burned metal scattered everywhere.
?...What happened....??
??? 5:
?Oh no, not you too...EMP must have fried your databanks...Listen, I?ve got no time to explain, but if we stay here we?ll die! Come with me, and if we live through this I?ll tell you what happened, but we can?t wait any longer!?
Looking up, he saw his ?brother? holding out his hand. Wait, he recognized him...But who was he? What is his name? Does he even have one? Wait, why was he doing this!? Whatever happened it here, it will happen to him if he doesn?t run!
?Alright, but you owe me an explanation!?
??? 5:
?And you?ll get one, brother.?
He grasped his brother?s hand, and with his help got up before both of them transformed and drove off, fleeing the scene as helicopters flew towards it...

?We?re screwed.?
Professor Blackrock nervously walked around in his office, pondering on what to do as another scientist with very light blond hair and an East-European appearance sat in a comfortable chair, holding an half-empty glass of beer.
???:
?Gary, you will keep your job at Stark Industries. I, however, will have to take it where it hurts.?
Blackrock looked at the professor, feeling sorry for him. He forgot that his position wasn?t as secure, and that it was basically the professor?s pet project. He knew that his friend would be the first to be fired, in order to please SHIELD.
?No, that won?t happen. We just need to get them back, without SHIELD getting to them first.?
???:
?And how, dear Gary, are you planning to do that??
Blackrock sighed as he realized that the professor was right. But there HAS to be a way...
?What if we use your ?other? prototypes??
The professor frowned, honestly surprised.
???:
?Are you mad, Blackrock? They aren?t stable! It would be too big of a risk!?
?Do we have anything else that can match shapeshifting and highly intelligent warmachines??
???:
?Good point...But the prototypes alone won?t be enough...They?re useless without us knowing where they are. If only we had the resources of SHIELD, then it would be quite an easy task...?
Blackrock sighed as he thought, before looking back at the professor as he realized something.
?What about the taskforce we made to stop them in case they went rogue in the tests, like with Transformer Zero??
???:
?It could work...They have the manpower...But who will we use to find them??
Blackrock thought again. The professor made a good point there. He then remembered something, but also knew it was risky...But in this case, the reward outweighed the risk.
?I know someone we can hire. Reliable, efficient, stealthy, and I had already used his services once. Yes, he?ll be able to help us.?
The professor smiled as he gulped down the rest of his beer before putting the glass down on a table, and shakingly stood up.
???:
?Alright. You hire who-ever you have in mind, and I?ll inform the R.A.A.T. In a few days, the Transformers will be back in our possession.?
