This is a concept of what Ultra Magnus could look like as a repaint. Any suggestions?

I agree, but, I would not object to a UM re-paint rather than no UM at all.

I'm the opposite.

I'd rather go without an Ultra Magnus figure rather than see him once again become nothing more than a repaint of Optimus Prime.

Yeah yeah, his G1 self was a repaint, but he had the new trailer and stuff.

To me it's just Hasbro taking a cheap way out to hold onto a copyright for the name.

I'm thinking that we'll be getting Ultra Magnus in the sequel, otherwise Hasbro would have released him as the repaint above, instead of Nightwatch Prime.

They have to be careful with what characters they release through repaints right now, as they may want to use said characters in the sequel.

I remember seeing a really nice one similar to your concept on Ebay last summer.

I just call the white Prime's Magnus. It's always been Magnus in Ultra armor to me.

Wow, that digibash just looks awesomely fantastic.

It's a nice digibash, and the gold is a nice and different touch.

But no thanks, I'd prefer to not have another white Prime repaint being called Ultra Magnus.
