He guys I was looking os T.F. Source to buy a maketoy devastator and I saw an amazing thing.
It was the fansprojecs paralax ultramagnus trailer kit with missles and gun kit for 130 dollars.
The odd thing is that under it was the ultramagnus armor for 250.
Whats the differance? Is the trailer kit with missles a still the armor? If I buy it it turns a classics voyager magnus into city commander justy the same as the armor set right or wrong?
I also wondering why the better item with the gun and shoulder missles is cheaper than the armor without gun and missles?

The trailer kit is merely an expansion for City Commander AFAIK, the set does not come with the trailer itself.

Hang on now. So if I buy the trailer kit it will not transform into bot mode? Am I to learn that to have a complete vity commander it will run about 600 dollars then?
WOW!! That kind of......disgusts me. If that isnt taking advantage of collectors then I dont know what is.
They should havce released the shoulder missles, blaster and trailer with the original set all together. Instead they retooled a retool and then retooled a retool retool.
Sad part is the generations magnus looks fantastic but is so incredibly small that he is almost not worth owning.
I am commited to owning city commander though so I guess Im going to have to do some work online.
There is a complete city commander on ebay with a broken head for 300. I may buy it and fix it...

This looks like the first run trailer set that doesn't include the gun and shoulder missles.

Yeah, go with the 2nd link that LOST Cybertronian posted. The product in the first link is probably a lot more expensive because it's a limited run, regardless if the second+ release has more bang for your buck. That's just the collectors market for ya.

They sorta did back in the day. They released a pretty cheap set of shoulder missiles and handgun as a standalone in addition to the full v2 kit. Of course the standalone kit wasn't as numerous so finding it all by itself is nearly impossible.

o.k. tHIS ANSWERS MY QUESTION. i THought I was just reading wrong or that it was mislabeled or something. I couldnt believe that the armor without the upgrades was more expensive than the armor with the upgrades.
It just dosent make much sense. Luckily for us this transformer toy market hasnt made a whole lot of sense as of late and as a result we can apparently buy the whole damn set cheaper than the armor alone.

I guess I have one more question before I put this to bed. This city commander set puts magnus about voyager size correct?
Also does classics magnus actually go inside the armor like the original one did in the G-1 TOY?
