As for the topic, its a tough one.
Cartoon wise I would say Grimlock, if he can get in close.If Magnus is smart enough to stay out of reach its a different story.
Comics is harder to judge, Magnus seemed a little too reluctant to fight, and Grim too easy to provoke, both of those behaviors could lead to defeat.
