According to the artist, his inspiration was a simply combination of Megatron and Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket." The image replaces the usual army helmet with the iconic helmet of G1 Megatron. This is simply too cool to miss out on if you are a fan of either side of this parody.
