I really like that posing the legs and neck differently gives them fairly different silhouettes while leaving both still towering over other deluxes. The asymmetry in robot modes is nicely reminiscent of the CR/RiD cars as well.

Weapon: Electromagnetic Photon Laser
Been away from home but whilst I was gone mister postman delivered me my Blitzwing.

Hmm, straight out of the box I had to do surgery on him, before even getting to transform him, I did the take apart, shave the insides down mod on him, worked like a treat, but his legs were floppy as hell, had to tighten them up with superglue :/

Then his 3 faces were too tight to pull down, had to take his head apart and shave off all the excess paint and now it works great. After all of this work he is near perfect, absolutely great figure! I recommend him as long as you don't mind taking the time to do surgery on him.

As for sightings, it seems like all of the prime line is reduced across different stores, the entertainer has deluxes at something like £7.80, voyagers for £15. Spotted two vehicons in the Warrington entertainer.

Out shopping for new boots today and got a better deal than I was expecting so I popped my head into Home Bargains on the off chance of a cheap Vehicon. Then this kinda happened...

Image

I've left the mechtech off Starscream entirely, locked it open on Magnus and got the other 2 secured with the clear bands from the packaging. Seriously considering grabbing a second Magnus just for the extra missile since there's the option to shoulder mount them. I'm thinking with a bit of trimming to the head the second figure would paint up into a pretty sweet Huffer.

congrats! How you liking Thundertron?

as a Visionaries fan I'm fond of clear blue lions with facial hair, but was impressed enough with the mold that I keep considering the Lio Prime AM version.

anyway, Kapow have a sale on, and I was able to get the BH Ratchet for a tenner. Really wanted that, since the first version of the character was a pretty awesome fun toy, and the new one has his BW Dinobot thing going on. Gonna be repurposing him as a Junkion medic. TFSource only had him as part of a wave set, so I'd already been eyeing up the Kapow site for him, but at this price, I couldn't say no!

They've also got Fort Max for £250. That's pretty tempting, but I'm holding out hope that there'll still be Metroplex pre-orders when I get a cheeky wee bonus on my paycheck at the end of next month.

I saw a beautiful Sentinel Prime custom from the Magnus mold, so that's another idea
Starscreams weapon can be tied out as well, but its a bit tricky to do. Its also not that stable. However, if you extend it and then push the battery compartment forwards, it stays locked out and turns the light off
Transformers Energon is everyone's guilty pleasure. Go on. Admit it.

My favourite thing about Thundertron, apart from the fact that he only cost me £4.99, is this.

That's cool. I won't be stripping the awkward weapon for the moment but the parrot sits nicely with just friction on the shoulder claws.

Just a heads up guys, people on fullmetalhero have reported sightings of beast hunters deluxe wave 2 and voyagers wave 1 at Southampton TRU.

The hunt begins.

But, for me it's sod's law, cos I ordered a BH Bumblebee from the Kapow toys sale minutes before this news came to light. Still, I don't think we'll be finding new deluxes for under a tenner anytime soon...

I checked the Leeds TRU today and they had very little other than Prime deluxes and voyagers on sale. Also quite a few masterpiece OPs. Considered getting Knockout for £8.00 but I have read some bad reviews of the toy online, so I went for the Generations Frenzy and Ratbat pack in preparation for getting Soundwave. £12.99 is a complete rip but what can you do. Also got RTS Grappel this week for £20 so all in all I can't complain! Shame that's not true for the wife...

For anyone in the Yorkshire area we apparently now have an Entertainer toy store in the new Trinity shopping centre. Their website has BH OP and Predaking available for £23, along with several BH deluxes so will be having a look in town myself later in the week. Anyone seen any more Generations stuff? I'm starting to get twitchy. =P~

Afternoon all.

Loving the Thundertron Parrot. I have mine on his shoulder as we speak :)

In more of a sightings news...

I went to Toys R Us at Lakeside in Essex today and picked myself up Smokescreen, Ripclaw and Prime Voyager. They had Bee and Screamer as well as Predaking, but I figured the Mrs would disapprove of me picking them all up in one go :) Voyagers were £22.99 and Deluxe were the usual £12.99. That was all they had, was surprised to see it was wave 2 rather than 1. As far as standard Prime deluxes go they had a lot, including Knock Out, Frenzy/Rumble, Airachnid and a couple of Steves. I would have picked them up but I needed new toys instead.

I'm loving Ripclaw, very nice figure. Smokescreen is pretty much as expected and I am eternally grateful that the armor comes off! That said, it doesnt look quite as bad as I thought. Badassimus Prime just looks awesome in bot mode, a big meaty p***ed off bot :) Love the sword, hate the missle launchers. Vehicle mode looks like a Tonka Truck. Major downside for me is that he looks very plastic if that makes sense...

Image

I also popped into Smyths, but they didnt have anything special.

Aww dude, 8 quid for Knock Out is a bargain. He's actually very nice. A cool, fun little figure that most people seem to frequently mistransform, and thus give bad reviews of, because they don't think to actually fiddle with it.
I also say aww, cos Kapow has that Ratbat set for £6.99. I know cos I got one...
I was not going to spend £12.99 on data discs. Total rip off any day of the week.

I'll second the KnockOut mold as being good. The paint on both red versions of it is still beyond-poo but if you can overlook that or are considering a repaint or retrolabels touch-up, he's nice. I have the Dark Energon version and he was the one I was 3rd least interested in. Thankfully getting him out of the packaging I discovered he's a cool toy, with loads of great posability and quite a fun sculpt.

As has been said, Knock-out is a cool figure once you get him in hand and start fiddling with his transformation.

Saw some kreo combiner sets in my local asda living today, predaking, devastator and superion, £7.99 each.

Also have an original g1 blitzwing, complete with box and instructions, and a reissue g1 prowl complete and boxed which I was thinking of selling on ebay. If anyone fancies either PM me. Might also stick them on the selling thread too! 8-}

They stayed on the shelf-I don't have a cyberverse prime but atm Magnus is doing a fine job as commander. Might pick one up next time I go in as they'll inevitably still be there.
