Going to try and take it easy on the Prime line, but some of them are so nice they're making it difficult on me. Probably see what I can pick up in the shops for the most part, but if they ever make an Airachnid, she'll be pre-ordered online. Want to see more of Skyquake. Liking the looks of Cliffjumper and Bulkhead especially from the first few.

Has anyone got the DOTM ultimate optimus prime? Argos is selling them off for £50 and I was wondering if anyone could recommend it or ward me off. I kinda like the look of it, but I need a decent review to help tempt me to part with my hard earned cash!

super mode!! super mode, super mode!
Come on, It's been too long since a prime who combined with his trailer! it's huge, it's awesome, it's a truck with a trailer...
It's not anymore articulate than armada super prime though...It's expensive for what it is and could be painted and sculpted better. The fact they're selling it for it's size says it all, it's sort of too big, as it isn't any more articulate or detailed or complex than a deluxe figure...
But I don't own one... so why trust my opinion?

got Undertow at TRU today. Real nice toy. Wish I had the customising skills, and a 2nd one, to make the other head (the diving bell one) the main one, or to switch him right about, and repaint to use as Octopunch. Really does suit him far more than the Seaspray mold.

there was also a lone HFTD deluxe sitting on the shelves, and it was Axor. Picked him up and took to the til, wasn't going to pay more than a tenner for him, but he rang up at £4.99 or so as well, so got the 2 for £10! Axor's rubbery hands freak me out, but I like how he's nice and tall. He's going to join my Mayhems.

Seen Axor twice and passed for higher priority figures. My classics 'cons could always use more deluxe cars so if I find him for a fiver that'll be a definate grab. Never even seen the Lockdown figure he's based off so that might have to be an ebay grab at some point. Love me some Lockdown.

Really? There were loads of him in tesco's in my area right up to autumn of 2010 and I'm pretty sure the entertainer has had the same ROTF overstock including him and brawn right up to now. (I say now, because my local one has closed down, don't know what others are like) As far as perfectly out of place figures go, he's perfect.
Would also love me some cheap Axor.

you can check stock at your local store on the website. That's what I've just done. Really only interested in the Deluxe or maybe Voyager sizes, there's 3 Deluxes spread across the 2 stores in town, and no Voyagers. Seems to be a "pre-order to collect in store" thing for them though, suggesting sometime around the middle-end of next week.

Sadly, as ever with Argos, you'll need to go up to the counter and ask to see what ones they have before you decide if you want them. I'm liking the look of that blue Bumblebee, but am going to wait for more reviews I think. The one I seen of the new Cliffjumper...well, he looks like a nice chunky Scout class figure...but he's a Deluxe, so I dunno if I'd buy him.

Got me a deluxe Cliffjumper today. He is small (wifes reaction - "For £13 thats ****") but once I got him out of the box and transformed him I was impressed. He looks great and even my 2 yr old was looking and shouting cliffjumper! Honestly, its his favourite TV show, he even asks to watch it. Defo going for a wheeljack / vehicon / voyager megatron or OP after payday on Thursday....just don't mention it to the wife.

Having bought CJ, I thought I'd have a look at tfwiki to see what else to look out for, and I've just realised the cliffjumper I have got was a 'revealer'!? That might explain why he is smaller than most deluxes(?) but I'd still recommend him. His box does actually say deluxe, but the deluxe cliffjumper has arm cannons like in the show, this one comes with a blaster / axe.

I've got to admit, TF Prime has grown on me massively, just wish cartoon network would show the second half of season one. I know I could youtube it, but its not the same....

erm its actually the other way around: the CJ you got is the regular deluxe, the one with the blaster is a premium limited first edition figure which is not going to be released in the UK it seems.

Picked up BB today, he isnt great, the premium edition is alot better.

Had a fiddle with Soundwave and Wheeljack who are fantastic.

Ah, well at least now I know, and knowing is half the battle. Apparently.

Has anybody else seen a Wheeljack at their Argos yet? He is probably top of my list to get.

Could you guys take comparison shots of how big they are compared to other toys of their size class?
Like Prime Voyager Megatron with Classics Voyager Megatron?
I know that the Deluxes are smaller than usual, just a tad larger than scouts, but I would really like to know if the Voyagers have shrunk.

In the Megatron video review you can see that he's a little taller than DOTM Voyager Megatron, so possibly same size as ROTF Voyager OP. Possibly.

I think I'm going to wait for them to show up on Amazon or TRU, as I have plenty of gift certificates left over from Christmas that just want to be used.

I just gave in and got DOTM Soundwave off eBay.

That should round off my movie line shelf.
Trying to figure out if to do some clearing or not, at the moment.
(A couple of PCCs I really don't like anymore, were more on a whim than actual thought, plus I need space for more books for my course..)
