Oh, man! Ireland always gets better assortments than the mainland British Isles. I remember visiting Ireland during a summer vacation years ago and finding figures that I didn't even know existed.

Maybe this points to the reason Transformers distribution in Britain is so poor. Hasbro must just throw the cases into the Atlantic and rely on the ocean currents to ship them here. Ireland gets the best figures because they wash up on their shores first.

You could be on to something there!

The wife and I popped over to see family in Dublin the other week, so I made a fuss about visiting their local Smyths toy store in Fonthill.
Smyths reminds me of a cross between Toys 'R' Us and Argos (well their catalogue looks like Argos!) but better!

They had loads of Transformers stuff including Cyberverse Drillers, loads of random BotShots and battle set stuff, Weaponizers, Powerizers, FoC Deluxes (only a few), Prime Deluxes & Voyagers(loads), loads of Kreo sets, those fugly Optimus & Bumblebee 'power loader' thingys (?), masks and other stuff I cant remember!!! :D

I was thinking of picking up FoC Optimus but decided against it once more (gonna wait for Magnus) plus he cost more there than in TrU? :CON:

I tried 5 different big Tescos after I found Rumble and Airachnid, none of which had any of wave 5. I tried 3 of them yesterday then went back to Newtownbreda to find they had restocked, and had at least one of each figure in the wave.

Ok, had a browse on Toys 'R' Us' website this morning and was pleased to see these listed as in stock and available to order...

Transformers Prime Revealers

Sergeant Kup
Airachnid
Dead End
Decepticon Rumble

With reports of these guys turning up in random Tesco superstores also this is great news for all U.K. Transformers Prime fans! :D

Meanwhile, nothing in Manchester.

Same stuff in Forbidden Planet, and nothing at all at ASDA.

I've not seen any TFs of any kind for months in the 5 different Asdas I would use.

Asda used to be pretty good in these parts, It's kind of sucky lately. Sainsbury's seems to be the chance.

Went to Tescos Bracknell yesterday and to my surprise found TFP Airachnid and Kup! I got both of them but nothing else from deluxe waves 4 and 5 (or 3) which I thought was very strange.
Also got some metallic gold and silver pens so I've been doing alot of touch Ups this weekend, and I'll be posting some new videos next week
For anyone interested, Tesco also had legion wheeljack and commander spec ops bulkhead, ad well as both weaponisers, deluxe wave 1 & 2 and voyager wave 1

something from ebay was nearly delivered the other day. either Gen Springer or Prime Thundertron. Now I'm stuck with the dilemma of whether to go pick that up on Monday or wait til they fail to get me in for the 2nd one and save myself another trip to the depot. :P

Tesco beside me had nothing new, 2 Cliffs, an Arcee and a Soundwave. Some BotShots, which I don't get. Cyberverse which I don't get, and Weaponizers which I am not bothered about at all. They do, however have signs up that All Toys are 3 for 2, so keep em peeled! Also, the DOTM Ark playset is in their big Xmas sales display, for £15ish. Tempted by it for that money, but will hopefully snag it when there's a couple Deluxes I want in as well for the saving.

Nothing new at TRU in Norwich, but they have taken down the prices on HA basics again, to £5.99.

Might pick up Whirl on Sunday.

So it's been a busy few weeks, I popped into Warrington Toys R Us, had both Starscream and Bulkhead, and the first wave of the FOC line. Picked up starscream.

Then the Thursday before Last I went to the Tesco Extra in Warrington, had deluxe Airachnid, Kup, rumble, dead end, the black bumblebee repaint and Arcee and Ratchet too, as well as the usual wave 1, I only picked up Kup which I now regret because when I went back yesterday to pick up Dead end and possibly Rumble they were gone, it was just the wave 1 figures and Arcee/Ratchet left :/ Kup's cool though, with a few paint touch ups. Will be looking out for Rumble and Dead End though, but just a warning to anyone that these new figures sell out fast, i'll have to keep checking back in to see if they get new cases in.

picked up HA Whirl today. Pretty nice, wish there was a different way to use the rotors in bot mode, and real feet would have been nice, but other than that the toy is good. Not really Whirl mind you, needs a different head and a blue repaint for that. I'm sure I'll think of a name for him.

Shame UK dealers are buying Rumbles from tesco and selling them at £25!

My local had the case about 2/3 weeks ago.

Now all they have left are 4 sgt kups, 1 bumblebee, 1 soundwave and 2 cliffjumpers.

Not sure i can be bothered with Starscream and bulkhead as I have both in first editions.

Also picked up Gen 2 Bruticus, MP Lambour, Gaia Unicron, Hench & UFO, Stepper and AM Ironhide.

Have you tried putting his rotors around one of the guns on his arm?

Wow so I was in Tesco in liverpool today, thought I'd take a peak in the toys isle but wasn't expecting much (I'd been in a couple of days before and they had nothing new) and to my surprise I found voyager Dreadwing, only one, so I got him, used my Staff discount and a £5 exchanged clubcard voucher and ended up getting him for less then £10

But just a heads up that we'll at least be getting up to wave 3 in voyagers!
