Just heard that The Entertainer toy shop in Milton Keynes shopping centre has closed down!

A big dispointment for those that enjoyed browsing the shelves for Transformers, in fact any toy really!

Guess thats one more reason not to bother going to Milton Keynes, especially with the £13.00 return bus fair!
I wait patiently for Collectormania at MK Dons Stadium....

Apparently the shop owner is an ex-con, born again Christian, man-on-the-edge when it comes to his temper, has fallen out with the landlords/council of the shopping centre so has told them to shove it and has packed up shop and moved out!

Not sure if they plan to re-open elsewhere in MK or move out of the city to a nearby town (Bedford please)?

I was really bummed when I moved to Norwich, hometown of both Kapow! Toys and Toyz and Gamez, only to find out that a month after my arrival the latter was moving to the industrial estates. It was in town, slap bang next to EVERYTHING.

Now it's a 20 minute bike ride, or two buses. Blah.
And of course, Kapow, which is closer, doesn't really do retail, only mailing orders. Oh well. TRU is still solidly 10 minutes away from my flat.

I shed no tears for the entertainer, while its sad to see a bussiness go down I hate the fact shops have advertised uk delivery and then dont ship to norn iron!

I've only found the TF comic at small indie newsagents. None of the big supermarkets seem to have it out on shelves yet. I've managed to find the four I was missing to complete the six as I'd bought Sunstorm and Galvatron off eBay. Been looking to get doubles of these two, but they are so far eluding me in the shops.

Went back to Argos again to day to get me some Thundertron

he's really awesome and ive done some fancy elastic band tying (the small clear ones tht come with most tfs) so his blade now stays locked out without being floppy or with the light on

If you look a few pages back there's a link to a guide that helps with his neck if its bothering you. I did it to mine and it helps loads. You don't need to take anything apart to do the mod

Tescos here don't seem to stock it, and I can't be bothered to go into belfast as we only have one WH Smith.
Anyone got an extra Galvatron that they'd sell or trade? I can PayPal or if your after any of the Kreons that came in the Wave1 sets: Prowl, Jazz, Mirage, Starscream etc.

so that's why you guys are buying up the comics. I wondered why when the single packs were half the price. bought 4 of them last night and went back and snagged the rest of the wave. still a lot of spares (there's loads in them boxes) but it looked like some multiples and not a full other set. i don't know if these are done randomly or if they do have a set assortment. only opened about half so far, but damn, Bludgeon and Springer are pretty awesome, as is Scorch. I haven't even transformed any of them yet.

nope. going by the numbers it was just this wave. (inferno, dirge, warpath, etc)wouldn't mind some of the earlier ones, but not gonna go hunting to pay double. FWIW tesco did have the comic.

Cheers Va'al if you can find Galvatron for me. Been to every shop in Antrim and Ballymena, and only one tiny wee shop had the comic, but no Galvatron

As far as I know the preview wave are exclusive to the comic in the UK.

Just found the wave of Botshots that include SuperBot Shockwave, Skywarp, Roadbuster and G1 face BumbleBee in Tescos today.

I've had news from my inside man at TRU UK. Hasbro version MP10 should be on the website now and hitting larger stores over the next couple of days. I don't like the sound of 'larger stores', makes it sound like the numbers on this are going to be fairly low.
