So guess I haven't left a message in a while, whats going on guys? Unfortunately I don't know most of you, and I don't see any of the people I used to talk to on here, which is somewhat disheartening but hey, gotta give the new guys a chance eh?

Gosh, it has been a while since you've posted, hasn't it? Well welcome back man!
As for what's changed-well, you've noticed some people have dropped off the face of the planet, but these new guys are pretty cool :)

I'm amused at ArmadaPrime describing all the contributors to this thread "new guys". I still see you as a new guy Armie.

craggy you probably see valkeyreion as a newbie ;)
Still though, I've been here three odd years, and there are quite a few newer than me, so...

I think Valk was in and about the old ODB well before I took notice of it.

Well good on you, man!
I'm not even 18, so it'd have to much the same for me.

Aha fair enough-this is all well before my time...

Anybody would think this was a sightings thread or something. That was never the point of the ODB, it existed years before there even was a sightings forum.

On the booze, it was time to hang up my spurs. I'm not as young as I was, I can't afford to be dehydrated when I'm working under glass and I've got precious little time when I'm not working or on call these days. I'd been cutting down before I called it a day but the odd heavy night was making me poorly. I'm not good at moderation so it was time to stop.

Picked up the repaint wave of legion figures at Tesco today, marked down to £3.75 plus had some coupons to use. Commanders were £5, but there was only the Op repaint on the shelf that I was missing and I'm really not bothered about that.

Why are you talking about sightings?

This is not a sightings thread!

...I mean, of course it is! :D
(But I'm in Italy, and there's fizz-all here.)

If this thread was about sightings it wouldn't exist. Time for a whiskey.

STAY ON TARGET TOPIC!
;)

Popped in to my local Wilkinsons on Friday morning to find Transformers Prime Deluxe figures are down to £8.50 each which isnt too bad?

They only had a few in my store, including Shadow Strike Bumblebee, Rumble, Kup and Airachnid plus a hand full of random BotShots?

Visiting the in-laws down in Tottenham, London at the moment, bringing our first born son to see Gogo and Grandpa, so had a quick browse around the local indoor markets and a Sams 99p store, found nothing, not even a KO!

Heading back to Bedford shortly, so once we are back and settled I am thinking of heading over to Toys 'R' Us with hope of something nice and new (wish I could afford MP Optimus :-( )?

TRU's website said that MP 10 was in stock at my local shop a little while ago. I haven't checked again since, nor have I actually went in. Maybe once I've paid all my bills for this month.

Stopped by at TRU Norwich, spoke to a friend of mine who works there.
They are apparently still receiving DotM stock, for some reason, but they're marked down at 7.99 for deluxes.
Nothing new in Generations or Prime, Masterpiece Optimus Prime is still there (and they have two more case of it!).

Buy one get second half price offer is back, on all Hasbro toys. So that's something.

Local tesco's homestore had some Prime stock with a bit of reduction but nothing worth noting really. A single voyager megs, a thousand bloody airachnids, a couple of...deluxe kup, is it? Green and distinctly truck-y. Some random cyberverse but none that I could be bothered to get, really-a commander OP repaint, legion..flamewar, I think?, along with bumblebee repaint #6510 and IIRC a wheeljack repaint.
Water, water, everywhere, but not a drop to drink. Something vaguely along those lines.

And also, I saw your little interview-a-ma-bobber Va'al, congrats on getting it! :D

Thanks! I got recruited and interviewed by two people who definitely did not talk to each other. So the two are not connected in any way, just coincidence. :D

I missed the first batch of these so didn't mention them at the time but Sven Harvey has had a second shipment of the Kreon combiners. All 4 wave 1 sets for £35 shipped with the cheap shipping option. He doesn't carry a lot of stock so these won't hang around long. http://www.geek-station.co.uk/transform ... -833-p.asp

Says in stock on the site!?
