Back to bed for me.

On another note, any one ordered the European region encoded Blu-ray of Transformers Prime from Amazon Germany? It has both English and German audio, was just wondering if any one had it yet and if its any good.

Pity we wont be getting it in the UK, but its a decent alternative don't you think.

*in proper pirate style* Gyaaaarrrgh!!

Why hasnt any UK distributor picked up Transformers Prime for release on Blu-ray? I just dont get it!
I have had to resort to some dodgy downloads to get my HD fix!!
Come on U.K. get with the program!! #-o

Is that the whole 1st season? How much did that set you back?

Just won the 3rd E(vil)bay auction of the weekend, which means I now have Armada Prime, Armada Jetfire and Energon Ultra Magnus to look forward to being delviered over the next week, and all for the total of £61!

Not a bad haul! Is that inclusive of shipping? I still want to get my hands on an original RID Ultra Magnus to combine with Prime! :BANG_HEAD:

I'd sell you mine, but I don't wanna. Seriously, Omega Prime is bloody fantastic, and that Magnus on his own is awesome in plastic form. Hope you get one soon because you'll love it!

ThunderThruster: that's a nice haul. Especially for the price, as that Energon Magnus usually goes for quite a bit. I have the Powerlinx repaints of Prime and Jeftire, and the whole thing combined with Magnus is one of the sweetest looking bricks ever. You can stick about a thousand Minicons on them as well to really amp up the armaments. If you don't already have them get the Emergency Team, the police car is a decent rifle, the chopper becomes a dual gatling gun and the fire truck is an awesome missile pod thing!

Oh dear...
But yes, I thought that was a galvatron but I wasn't sure enough (as I didn't pause it, watched it live) to start announcing at and risk being ridiculed when it turned out to be something completely different.
Interesting that its sitting there in decent (?) condition in a random house in 2013, though

You lucky little son of a gun-armada OverJetPrime, as I've dubbed him, is possibly, in my eyes, one of the most beautiful, glorious bricks you will ever own in your life.
(Well, I say that-he does have some articulation, but nothing wonderful)

soon as he came on screen I got a big grin then shouted on twitter that Galvatron was on Doctor Who!

Definitely curious that he was just sitting about there though. The kids are far too young to have had him. Maybe he was Clara's? Or it was a nice little nod from one time travelling alien to another.

I'm partial to those bricks. I've got a regular and PL Prime for their small robot modes, another regular for super mode, Sam's Club black and yellow Prime/Overload combination, TRU Japan Magna Convoy DX Final Battle Convoy and Crystal Magnus combined with PL Jetfire pants, regular Jetfire, Club Astrotrain, Overload and Energon Magnus. Not counting lucky draws I think I'm only missing ML Convoy, ML Magnus, Botcon Sentinel Maximus and the slight Jetfire repaint from the 2 pack with Prime. I don't have a specific combo for just Jetfire and Prime so I figure that repaint with the regular Prime and replace that super mode with the anime coloured Japanese version and I'll be up to about the perfect set.

It is indeed £61 including shipping. I also found out the other day that (while not as spectacular) the Overload mold can combine with just primes trailer in leg mode or Jetfire in leg mode.

This thread is detrimental to everything, really.

I've always wanted RiD Omega Prime, but can't seem to find the two figures at a decent price. :(

Although what you can do, iirc, is flip out jetfire's arms and have him hold his rifle and all three of the minicon weapons. looks daft but 10-year-old me always thought it was dumb that there were three weapons but nobody could ever hold all of them to show their true power

Not sure if it's been mentioned in the other thread but Galvatron showing up in Who could have a lot to do with Andrew Wildman having storyboarded all but one episode of series seven.

Maybe. But then again, he's had enough of Transformers since he started. Image

Loads of the single figures I've been wanting lately have been getting sold on my usual place TFSource only as part of sets (Blaster, BH Ratchet, TrailThingy and Stealth Megatron - in particular) so it looks like I might have to go back to Kapow. Heck, they're likely to be getting a huge chunk of money from me for Metroplex anyway, since I wouldn't be surprised if shipping that beast from the US would cost more than I'd save in the currency conversion.

I'm a bit irked at this whole idea of selling things only as wave sets. Sure, let people who want the whole wave save a bit of dosh, but I don't want to buy stuff I don't want just so I can get other stuff I'm not bothered about. :(

One thing I'm still not seeing anywhere for ordering is the BH Cyberverse Abominus set. Sinnertwin is in my TFSource stack, but they've none of the rest up, and I don't see them on Kapow either, yet we've seen video reviews of them, so I assume they're out. Anyone know where I can get my hands on the rest of the team?

Holy monkey, it's been a long time since I was here.

Well, I've seen Forbidden Planet (in Bristol at least) have the wave 3 FOC deluxes and the Soundwave/blaster voyagers in.
Of course at slightly extortionate prices...

Erm, I guess that's the only sighting I've got to talk about...
Got a Blitzwing from kapow this week and completed my FOC Bruticus with a Vortex too.
How are y'all?

Thanks to Electron, I got my Breacher today! :D
If Scouts/Commanders keep being this good for the next movie line, I might reconsider collecting.

Oh yes, scouts were the pinnacle of excellence around ROTF/HFTD, Breacher possibly being the zenith. I miss them, lovely little bundles of 7 quid perfection that they were. If you want to collect any movie toys, make it the scout class lot.
It's a shame that you can't get change out of a tenner for a sterlingly solid bot anymore. Commander class figures just do not compare, they're so much smaller and less involved.
I'd recommend the Skystalker mold if you don't have a version. I have Sunspot and he is a favourite of mine.
The Scattorshot mold is also good. I hear Firetrap might be the best version, but I can only speak of experience with Scattorshot himself and another repaint, Flak.

I own Brimstone, Backfire (meh), Breacher, Skystalker and Ejector. And except one, I love them all.

Hatchet and Guzzle are good, too, especially the Tiger/Jet. He's a teeny meany leany killing machine-y. :D

I thought Flak was the tiny tiny Legion/Legends class AMV?

HFTD Flak is a repaint of ROTF Scattorshot from the sainsbury's exclusive Ravage infiltration set.

Wasp! I was wondering where you'd got to mate. I've been good, if a little slow on the collecting front, due more than anything to my lack of motivation to actually bother to go to any shops
