Rodimus and Grimlock had price cuts? I never saw them at anything less than full price...

Plus I haven't been to a single TRU that has more than 1 Soundwave in stock at any time... Acid Storm more common though. Also Prime disappeared without a drop in price from most shops.

I can see Metrolplex dropping like he has in the U.S. though.

Maybe I'll buy a second one...

Nothing really to report, only that TRU seem to be struggling to move MP Soundwave and Acid Storm, so I expect them to have a price cut pretty soon, same as Rodimus and Grimlock did

Only had one box o' Soundwaves here. Plenty of Acid Storms though.

Bloody northerners! ;)

I'll be travelling south for 6 hours to what you quaint Englishmen call "The North" >:oP

It's called The North. Because it's the north of England.
Try explaining East Anglia to a Southerner, and convincing them it's not the North.
Headaches aplenty.

EDIT: Also, I consider myself the Southernmost Northenerner here. Being half-Yorkshire and half-Tuscan. :D

one of your parents was from Tatooine?

Ahaha schooled

Yeah Roddy and Grim both got knocked down £10-£20 over their long shelf-warming lives before being removed. My local has about 10 each of Acid and Daddywave

Hey all

Not much to report here either... Finally picked up the Generations Legends Prime and Bee, got them in the 3 for 2 at Toys R Us. They also still had the Free Commander when you spend £20 on Transformers. So I got a free Hard Shell as well :) 2 Legends Prime, a Bee and a Hard Shell for just shy of £20 :)

I think the Commander offer has stopped now though.

I also finally picked up Beast Fire Predaking as he is down to £29.99 at The Entertainer.

Oh and we finally have a B & M near me! At Lakeside in Essex, right next door to Toys R us! They didn't have a huge amount, pretty much what Robotmel said, only they didn't have any Kreo, which was disappointing as I still don't have the Wheeljack set :(

They generally keep the Kreo with the Lego and Legoalikes rather than the TFs.

I did have a good look around, found a fair amount of construction blocks, but no Kreo other than a *yawn* Battleships set.

In fairness I could have been more thorough, but the Mrs was less patient than me :)

Finally ordered a MP Bluestreak, but Kapow were out of stock :(

Yep, 3 for 2 still going, Commander offer isn't.
Also brought myself to grab a mini-Prime, to go with the maxi-Prime arriving this week! :D

Ok... second attempt at posting this as my pooter decided it could not wait until I clicked Submit before restarting itself!

Morning groovy people :)

A couple of pieces of "news" that I haven't seen reported here yet (in fact everyone is pretty quiet *pokes people with stick*).

On to the news!

I popped in to Toys R Us Chatham yesterday for some last minute Christmas shopping (for me - wife was a tad behind schedule, but she is awesome so I'll let her off) and found the following...

1. Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Wave 5! First time I have seen them or heard anyone else seeing them. The had all 4 Figures, only one of Bumblebee (who I didn't buy because I don't really like the mould and the colour scheme isn't even show accurate so he is an easy pass, Shadowstrike Bee is much better IMO.) The also had one Prowl. He is now mine. ALL MINE!!!!!! (Well actually he is now one of my Christmas presents - but still.)
2. Acid Storm is still £49.99. I didn't want him for £75, but £50 isn't so bad, besides he is for Christmas so he is also now mine. They had tonnes of him there, but not Soundwave or Primes.
3. Finally on the Kreo front, Kreo Devastator is down to just £29.99, I don't have him and was never going to pay more than £50 for him and that was at a push, so £30 is a bargain and a buy on sight for me. Also rounded out my Christmas Presents nicely.

Nothing else new. Lots of Generations figures, including Kickback, who seems to be slightly illusive. Nothing new though, just a bunch of the most recent ones. No new Voyagers, just Grimlock and Soundwave. I'm hoping Blaster's cassettes appear (and probably shelfwarm) as my mate picked me up a Blaster in the US, what a lovely chap.

Still no Beast Hunters Voyager Shockwave. If I don't get that toy, I may cry.

EDIT - Just checked on Toys R Us website... found this... I dont want it but I'm sure someone will :)

Oh, btw, I just got hold of a Masterpiece Streak, Bluestreak was my first transformer (bought him in Argos in 1985 - wanted Sideswipe but he was out of stock :( ) so I have major attachment to the character and this figure is absolutely gorgeous. Now all I need is the Amazon launchers...

Have an amazing Christmas all. I will spend most of the 25th playing with Transformers, because you know, every 35 year old should get toys for Christmas :)

Those gold pieces on Prime kinda look like the plastic has gone off.

My TRU (Reading) had Blaster's cassettes last time I was there, but there weren't too many, and that was about a month ago...

Also, anybody seen any BH Voyager Shockwaves in the country?

Hmm, may have to swing by my local TRU, and see if I can pick up Generations AirRaid and Magnus.

I still want to pick up Air Raid but unsure I really need another tiny Ultra Magnus? The completist in my screams 'buy him' but the voice of reasoning, my wallet, just laughs!

:-?
I need the new Masterpiece Optimus but dont like the gold and black or the clear trailer!
I really hope TrU get some restocks of the proper version because I dont want to get my paint set out on Pepsi Prime!

If I dont get my arse finances in gear I will probably (or all ready have) miss out on MP Soundwave too?

Hah! Good parallel. :D

TRU Norwich also had Air Raid and Magnus, last time I was there (a week ago, more or less).
