I still want to pick up Air Raid but unsure I really need another tiny Ultra Magnus? The completist in my screams 'buy him' but the voice of reasoning, my wallet, just laughs!

In all honesty, I'm not getting him to have as Magnus, he just has all the right parts for Motormaster, ie, no face plated angry looking head, big **** off sword...

The starscream/Scoop and Waspinator/Skids Waves have been in Orbital in central London for a few weeks now.

Popped over to Toys R Us in Central Milton Keynes today to see what they had on offer.

Titan Metroplex was there along with around 30+ of the green TF Prime Beast Hunters Beast Tracker Optimus Prime! These things where warming like good uns!
Generations Voyagers Soundwave, Grimlock, Deluxe Trailcutter, Air Raid, Ultra Magnus, TF Prime Voyagers Thundertron, Optimus, Ultra Magnus, a slection of Beast Hunters Legions or Commanders..?

Its a huge store with plenty of space, so disapointed by the lack of any Masterpiece?
I asked at the customer service desk to check their system computer, they told me the regular MP Optimus Prime has been discontinued and MP Soundwave was out of stock? It appeared to list MP Soundwave twice, once at full price of £129.99 and also at £99. Did we get a price drop when MP Soundwave had been out a while? :-?

Nice to hear Metro is showing up in shops still. There's still a tiny bit of hope yet that I can get his neutered self for slightly less than importing one. :(

Hope Father Christmas brought you all some sweet plastic goodness. ;)

Whilst in Toys R Us @ Milton Keynes I asked the customer service about the availablility of any Masterpiece figures, specifically Optimus Prime.

MP Prime is discontinued. MP Soundwave is out of stock.

On a more positive note, I was told that Toys R Us do their regional 'stock take' around the middle of January, meaning if we where to contact them again towards the end of January they will known what current stock is actually still available of MP Optimus and Soundwave around the U.K. and that they are more than willing and able to do an inter-depot stock transfer!

Unless we see or hear of any more MP Ops or SW turning up, I will give TrU another go in a couple of weeks. ;)

Nothing new to report on the sightings front except Sainsbury's have a third off at the moment and they had Voyagers (Predaking only) a smattering of the usual Deluxe and Cyberverse as well as Scout and "Regular" Construct Bots, only think I hadn't seen before was Thundercracker and Bee Construct Bot Scouts.

In other news... just in the process of my post Christmas reshuffle of Shelf Space, found my toy room to be a) a total mess and b) a treasure trove! (mostly a mess).

Had to make some decisions on space... I have "retired" my entire Movieverse collection (except Leaders and Human Alliance, and Shockwave cos he is cool), They have joined my Unicorn Trilogy Collection in the land of plastic boxes in the loft. One day I will go through all of that stuff, maybe sell a lot of it. (anyone need any Armada/ Energon/ Cybertron figures? :) ).

I now have space for me Kreo collection and my Construct bots (that I swore I would never buy, I now have 6.) I also finally managed to free up a shelf for my Masterpiece figures. Both Prime's still live on my Prime shelf but it is nice to have the others all together. Except Megatron now looks ridiculous, too huge and frankly not that great a figure :( Shame really.

I still need to reorganise all my Prime stuff, 3 shelves just isn't enough, and I still don't have a home for Big Predaking. My Cyberverse shelf is totally stuffed and I found 2 unopened Vehicons, and 5 unopened Air Vehicons while tidying! As well as Blight, Rippersnapper, a third Hard Shell and my box of Voyagers and deluxe - mostly bought to sell / do something with in the future. In there I found 3 Skyquakes, (I only though i had 2!), a Prime, Starscream, Dreadwing, Smokescreen, Knock-out 6 Vehicons and a Kup that I one day intend to repaint as Iron Hide. Oh and a Generations Cyberverse Prime.

I think I need another shelf just for Beast Hunters stuff...

I did however finally find space for Metroplex, not with the FoC stuff or even Generations for that matter, which is another section I need to sort out! Trying to decide whether Hunt for The Decepticons Brawl and Reveal the Shield Outback should live with that lot...

I did a quick count of what is actually on display in this room.

304.

(Not including Bot Shots, Construct Bots or Kreo.)

Ah yes, the point of this. In an effort to make space, over the next week or so I will finally be getting shot of a bunch of stuff on ebay. This will include a fair amount of (mainly rubbish) G1, a load of G2, a bunch of Robots in Disguise (Prime included), a load of Kreons, and some other assorted nonsense. If anyone is interested in anything let me know.

Hope you are all having a funtastic new year so far :)

I paid a visit to toys r us warrington today, they have 3 metroplex's on the shelf, and 1 of the year of the horse optimus, no designated shelf space for it, was just dumped on the floor by the transformers section.

I picked up voyager Soundwave, didn't originally want it when I first saw it, but after watching many reviews and different customs of it I finally caved, however I was too busy looking for one that had perfect paint/no stress marks that when I got home and opened it I realized that the one I had chosen was missing one of its back wheels, so if anyone is planning on picking this guy up check it has all 4 wheels :(

I'd take it back and exchange it but I cannot find the receipt for the life of me, so i'll have to take the other back wheel off and come up with some funky new alt mode for him instead :P

Hey all

Just had a bit of a score at Bluewater in Kent.

The Entertainer had both Ripclaw Strike and Autobot Command Centre Kreo sets, neither of which I have seen over here before. Both were on sale, Ripclaw £8 and the Autobot Base £14.99.

Nothing of interest other than that.

I then popped over to John Lewis and found Sharkticon Megatron. I then tore the shelves apart in the hope that there was a Shockwave hiding somewhere, but alas, it was not so. I'm not sure if Shockwave is even in that Wave assortment, but we can but hope... I think there is a wave with Prime, Grimwing, Sharkticon Megs and Shockwave. They had Grimwing and I think a few Magnus.

Anyway, he was full price of £22.99 but it was the first time I had seen him so I snapped him up.

Nice haul!

Forgot to check TRU on my way out of town today, but need to pop in again tomorrow anyway.
In the meantime, I picked up some superglue for joints.

the case assortment I saw on TFSource was Sharky Megs, Prime, Grimwing and Magnus, so probably no Shocky. Still, nice one on getting Mega-Shark (now you need a Giant Optimus)

(would have put more time into it, but I *should* be doing work right now... Maybe a redo later on.)

(Apologies for the messy desk)

(Also pretty much the first time I have attempted to properly take any pics of my toys other than just on a shelf. Am totally digging my new Camera :) - The full size version of that first pic is ludicrous!)
