Has anyone else seen the AOE trading cards? Spotted them in asda today, 5 packs for £5 although I'd imagine you can get individual packs too. Took a photo but apparently the attachment is too big to upload! :BANG_HEAD:

Hey i'm wondering if you kind guys/gals can help me, I'm heading to London next week (first time since I was like 12) and if we have any spare time I was thinking of heading to the Forbidden Planet megastore (if my girlfriend permits it) just wondering if anyone has been recently and if they can comment if its worth a visit, my main interest is if they have any of the IDW later waves that I haven't been able to pick up, specifically Skids or Waspinator, whats with Skids hitting up to £59.99 on ebay? I know Liverpool forbidden planet must of had them at some point because they had dreadwing/goldfire and if i'm not mistaken they're wavemates?

Recently picked up armada Starscream, voyager Whirl offline and both are pretty good, wish armada Starscream was a voyager though but Nevermind.

And to keep on topic, the generations seem to be overflowing in the Warrington toys r us, whilst asda and tesco and entertainer seem to have most of the stuff geared for younger kids in stock. Not interested in purchasing TF4 figures, might pick up deluxe strafe out of curiosity if I see one in person though.

The mega store in London is, as most Forbidden Planets, a bit hit and miss. Last time I was there they had some older Generations stuff (the in-pack comics, for example) but that was about it.

Not sure if you've already been to Forbidden Planet in London already, but I popped in there this afternoon. They really don't have anything in the way of the IDW stuff anymore. I only saw a few Orion Pax and Trailbreaker figures that they had shoved opposite the Dr. Who stuff. They also had a couple of FoC Soundwaves. It's mostly AoE figures out, and I'm sure you can get those cheaper at TRU.

A few months back they had quite a few of the IDW figures, as well as some FoC ones. I actually missed out on a FoC Kickback both there and at my local TRU, but I'm not desperate for him and I'm sure he'll turn up eventually.

I don't think I ever saw Skids in their store though. If so, he went pretty quick and he's been on Pre-Order for ages (now due 30th Oct apparently). Down the road in Orbital Comics near Leicester Square station they had Scoop from what I remember.

From what I hear, Skids is a bit of a shelfwarmer over in the US, so you'll probably be able to get one easily on eBay or privately.

Anyone seen AoE Gen wave 2 yet? I don't know whether to save up and get the wave 2 stuff or to get Leader Prime first. :S

Yep, read that.shame really but with so many new 3p companies springing up they had to draw a line somewhere. I hope they can continue with the Fanstoys stuff.

Popped into my local Argos to kill time today and spotted they had Commander BH SHockwave at like £7 out there on a shelf. Was excited for a brief minute only to realise I didn't have my wallet with me D:

Vaal - I sent it to the Submit News things and filled out the form. I thought it had gone through :( - cheers anyway though bud.

In other news (ish) I just got a bunch of Beast Wars / machine stuff off of eBay including Supreme Cheator (who is infeasibly large... like why?) as well as the Beast Machines versions of Beast Wars Neo Guiledart and Saberback. They are mental figures :)

Got my first two Kerons yesterday but didn't have time to open them till now...And they're both Sharkticons... #-o

Any one want to trade? Though my looking also proved I was too slow to get the deluxe dinobots, at my local toys r us, as now all they have is a lot of bees and crosshairs, though they did finally get the voyagers in, just wish it was five years ago when they cost £18 and not £25 almost.

Yo, can anyone here vouch for Forbidden Planet (as in this forbidden planet, there are two  ) as an online retailer? I know that they have a habit of steep prices but I've only bought in-store from them and so I haven't a clue how reliable they are regarding shipping and all that jazz

If anybody on here has won any of my ebay lots let me know who you are and I'll throw in some extra bits and pieces. Total raised for the weekend so far is already hitting £300 which will pay off the balance of the deposit on my house as my housemate moves out.

TRU Bristol (Cribbs Causeway) has plenty of the Slug Evolution Pack, first time I've seen it.

Decided to bite anyway and (FINALLY) grabbed myself a Generations Springer at last-cost just shy of (or just over, i forget ) £25 shipped, which is pretty much cheaper than I've seen him anywhere other than possibly ebay, but being under 18 I can't have an ebay account of my own, making that option a right swine. Either way I'm happy with what I paid, and excited for it to arrive

You will like Springer, you might like him even more with the fine sticker set from reprolabels installed.

Is the slug in that the same deco as the standard Slug? Was looking at the evolution packs.

Hum, had a glance at the reprolabels website and whilst it adds some neat detailings, some of the stuff it adds makes it feel a little busy, and theres nothing it gives that I feel I'll be missing too much-at least, not £11 worth of missing ;)

Popped in to Bedford town for a look around.

Poundland have some KO looking combiners, not even sure if they are actual Transformers or some other brand, but there are four different ones, each pair combine into a larger bot! Spacebot Convertors!!

B&M Home Store didnt have a single Transformers figure that I could see, odd?

Toys R Us have a large display pushing the new movie figures with some of the Deluxe Dinobots and the black Bumblebee plus the Voyager Evasion Optimus and Leaders Optimus and Grimlock. The where also a handful of Deluxe FoC Sideswipes and some Voyager FoC Grimlocks too!

I have noticed a lot of listings on Ebay which appear to list AoE figures as being the Deluxes but are actually those 'Spin Attack' figures in similar packaging! :-$
