I also love that him, Ultra Magnus and a bunch of Construct Bots from last year are listed as "New".

Shouldn't that be "Found laying around in the warehouse after stock-take 2 weeks ago?"

Just send an email to them. I've found they're usually prompt dealing with such queries.

Interesting about the ENtertainer there. May have to start looking in there too.

Payday today, so I'm tempted to order the FP Swoop. Since CW will probably still be some way away yet.

Yeah, I emailed them this morning and quoted my order reference number.
I'm just waiting on a reply.

I'll be so gutted if I've missed out on that Takara Arcee. I've had the pre-order on since the start of October.

Good to hear it's been sorted.

Hmmmm. Anyone got opinions on generations chromia or Brainstorm? The current mtmte stuff is really getting me interested in him (yes, I've watched some reviews, just curious to other opinions).

Really like Generations Chromia. The two tone colour scheme looks great, much better in person than photos. I dont know how to describe it but its a sort of pastel effect. I like the way they tried to make the front wheel look like its just floating out there.

I know she is a remold of Prime Arcee and I have the first edition Arcee so they aren't too similar but its a good effort by Hasbro to make something a bit different from the norm.

Only gripe is the way that huge windscreen hangs behind her head.

Just spotted this.

Skydive still plays, in my mind, the role of the jerk who's obsessed with looking big. Probably because of the chunkier legs and much wider chest/shoulders in robot mode. Firefly has a much meaner, leaner look and feel to it, can't wait to find a second, non-broken one. :D

So Skydive's essentially a stereotypical highschool jock?

Quite surprised at TRU suddenly bringing Bludgeon out of left field, though I love how the description calls him "two-fisted", it's almost as daft as AOE Scorn, and his "jaws of a dino".
(Then again, being a remold of Shockwave, perhaps it's a little more appropriate ;) )

Popped into Forbidden Planet in London this evening. They've got all the CW Deluxes and Voyagers, but more expensive than TRU or Smyths, so not worth it. They've still got some AoE and pre-CW Generations stuff from last year and a FoC Soundwave which I was surprised to see.

Popped into Orbital Comics as well and they've got all of the CW Deluxes including Blackjack going for (I think) £12.99. They also had the CW Voyagers including Motormaster, but they were pricey at £39.99, I'd rather wait for them to pop up in the shops. They also had the Takara Swerve/Tailgate pack, Chromia, Windblade and Brainstorm at £29.99 each, apart from Brainstorm who was £39.99. Other than that the usual smatterings of random Hasbro, Takara and Third Party bits and bobs. Couldn't see the SDCC Metroplex that they've had in there for god knows how long, maybe someone finally bought it.

I just found wave 2 of RID Warrior class in the Entertainer for their usually slightly higher price of £14.99 I think. I haven't been able to check if anywhere else has them yet.

I did pick both OP and Drift up however. I think Drift is the better of the two. Optimus looks like there should be another step in his Transformation but the two panels over his fists won't move though they look like they should. Overwise he isn't too bad.

No problem. It looks easy enough and it was the decider in the 'do I want it or not?' struggle. Might be nice with Cyberverse etc.

Forgot to mention that last week I popped in to Entertainer Warrington and they had all the combiner wars wave 1 figures, plenty of Optimus's and Silverbolt's, all the deluxes too...but no Legends.

Seriously I've not seen any of these legends anywhere, toys r us, sainsbury's, entertainer, not that i'm desperate, I just told myself that if I saw a Bombshell in hand i'd get it as i'm not paying more than retail to order it online.

I had a wander around Liverpool city centre yesterday, entertainer was shut, because it was Sunday.Forbidden Planet had CW Wave 1 deluxes and voyagers, I picked up generations Cross-cut and Centuritron from them (and ultimately felt like I'd wasted my money, more on that below).

Toys R Us Liverpool One had Combiner Wars Deluxes, Voyagers and they had a shelf tag for legends but the peg was totally empty. Looks like they'd sold out of the RID Warriors entirely too now that they'd been marked down.

No sign of leaders/wave 2 yet.

SO Centuritron; P.O.S. figure really, does not do much of anything in terms of articulation. But for the size and the fact that it combines, that's forgiven. I'm really not fussed on him. He's missing a great deal of yellow paint compared to his stock photography that I thought looked really nice on promo pics, and things generally don't stay tabbed or locked. All in all, combined mode just doesn't work for me. I separated him into his component bots and stuck them on my metroplex display with him grabbing them to desperately pull them off him ala dark cybertron. Looks nice, I have Hasbro Chromia and my Shiny New Takara Windblade with them.

Cross-cut, great head-sculpt, great shiny red paint, and his silver paint is gorgeous too. Black plastic in there really makes it pop visually. It's just a shame that his silver paint doesn't match his silver plastic one bit. I really like the way he looks, but he's not a G1 character (diaclone/e-hobby homage) and he's really only a minor character in MTME, and I just split up my lost light shelf, plus the fact that I think the Skids mold is really not any fun to play with because of how much stuff they crammed in there (and the ensuing amount of "please don't chip the paint" muttered as you gingerly slide panels past one another), and his big ridiculous clown-shoes which make him difficult to pose.... I ended up shoving him at the back of my '85 classics 'bots shelf, where he has no room to shine and ultimately wishing I still had the £16 in my back pocket.

On the subject of centuritron, you can form his weapons into a kind-of-hammer-thing that he could totally probably hold if it weren't for those black panels on the underside of his fists.
If I remember to take a pic when I get back, I'll drop it here and in the TYTFCDTYNR (things you transformers can do that you never realised) thread

I'd quite like to see that, might help me wring some more fun out of them.

@Vaal - Anything in particular that you liked? Honestly I think maybe I expected a bit too much from him/them and the dissapointment sort of made me dislike him.

Not much to report here.

TRU had the usual bunch of stuff at the weekend, nothing special or interesting.

Asda have the first wave if RID Hero Mashers. Not seen those before, but they didn't really interest me. I like some of the character representations but I think I'll pass on the whole Mashers line.

Can anyone recommend a good place to pick up Masterpiece figures? Kapow are always out of what I am after (my fault for not pre ordering or getting there quick enough lol) and up until now all of my non UK ones have come from ebay... I really want / need Bee, Wheeljack and Magnus lol
