Is this a bad time to point out that in the French broadcast of the G1 cartoon, Starscream was female?
In the French dub of The Transformers: The Movie, Starscream (along with Shrapnel) inexplicably became a female. This change, however, was only for the movie, as it used a different dubbing team from the television show. Most likely, the movie's French dubbing team mistook Starscream's rather high-pitched voice for a woman's voice. In the series his portrayed as a man in France, and Quebec Jacques Ferrière and Jean-Louis Millette respectively.
Also there was that Atari-scream indecent in kiss play, but that dosen't really count as it was a man-bot's ghost possessing a young girls body.
And yet when Slipstream first showed up in Transformers Animated, it was made clear that she was the manifestation of his inner femininity. So was the kiss incident a man-bot's ghost in a girl's body or has Starscream all along been a girl bot trapped in a man-bot's body?
Stew on that for a bit then hit the convenient panic button located on this site when the predicatble psychological reaction takes place.
