It's not just the original Marvel comics that are sh*t, it's also the original G1 toys that are terrible, and they shouldn't reissue them at all, it's a waste of materials that could be used to making better more modern representations of those characters.
And again against popular believe, G1 toys in fact do not "hold up" pretty well to today's toys, they have a hard time holding up to 90s toys as is. And they all pale in comparison to even the most basic of Beast Wars toys.
The 80s did not have the best cartoons of all time, the 90s was the time that cartoons (other than the Simpsons) started to introduce little somethings that are called "quality", and "good writing".
Fort Max's sucks, he's so huge, but looks terrible, has very little articulation and is nothing more than a glorified matchbox playset.
Animated Arcee does not fit in perfectly with G1 toys nor does she go well with Classics, if you do think so, you need to get your eyes and brain checked.
Another one like that, G1 Soundwave can be improved upon, he's already been outdone with Cybertron Soundwave, Animated Soundwave, Music Label Soundwave, WFC Soundwave, FOC Soundwave and of course MP Soundwave. He also does not display well with Classics.
Oh and Gundam is damn cool, with a some of the best robot designs ever.
You are the Transfans equivalent to the wanker who prefers the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy to the classic originals. For shame, sir. For shame.

I can't tell if this is a double negative, or an oxymoron.

Like all Japanese series, Energon has many interesting ideas, great character concept arts and could offer a new direction in history of franchice, but sadly Japanese creators were lazy and ruined series, that could be epic.RhA wrote:TurboMMaster wrote:Transformers Energon isn't so bad, it is simply extremly badly done.

Here are some of mine.
I don't mind Bumblebee being mute nowadays.
I don't hate the FOC designs.
I like most of the Prime Autobots more then most of the Animated Autobots.
The humor and witty talk in MTMTE seems to be too perfect and staged to be realistic.
Miko's not really the worst TF human out there not when ones like ROTF Leo or some of the Armada kids exist.
Most of Prime's flaws aren't any worse then most of the flaws in other TF series that didn't do them any better.
Both Beast Wars and Prime have some of the better written fembots by far in the franchise.
While the movies are far from perfect they aren't really on Batman and Robin levels of awful though ROTF comes close.

You never heard about Marvel comics, don't you? I say even more: For me Shockwave is much better "Starscream" than Starscream itself. It is a shame that we don't get Shockwave's betrayal in Prime (except for the fact that he couldn't care less about Megatron's demise in "Deadlock".)xyl360 wrote:Shockwave is one of the most loyal Decepticons and would never betray Megatron.

I agree.xyl360 wrote:Blackarachnia>Arcee

Why everyone say that Arcee in Prime is multidimensional? She is as flat as action girl only could be! She is the most static character of the show. Just because girl is bad ass it dosen't make her more original or interesting.xyl360 wrote:I think Prime and Beast Wars did incredibly well with real, 3 dimensional female characters rather than the typical token fembots thrown into other series (ref Arcee from G1 who was generally "concerned" , "flirty" or "in distress" and seldom ever anything beyond that).
