Amazon has updated their pre-order page for the eagerly awaited Transformers Generations Legends Swerve with Flanker with some new official images included a shot of the pair in-package. As you can see in the images mirrored below the packaging displays Swerve as he appears in IDW's Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye series.

Riding with Swerve is a terrifying experience. The Autobot technician lives up to his name. His attention span is so short that he finds even exit ramps boring, which more often than not results in him drifting, uncaring, into oncoming traffic. So it's good he's partnered up with Flanker. The little jet is almost compulsive about scanning everything around him for Deception activity. And when his shouted warnings don't make an impression on Swerve, his impenetrable force field does a good job of protecting the other vehicles on the road. Pop into some "explosive" Transformers action with these fierce Flanker and Swerve figures! Your Swerve figure converts from robot mode to crossover vehicle mode when he wants to take the battle to the road. But your Flanker figure is a 3-in-1 menace! He can convert from robot to jet mode, and when the battle calls for it he converts to blaster mode! Will the Decepticons be able to handle your lightning-quick Flanker and Swerve figures? Micro is the new trend huh. Just like TG24 set, the details are quite outstanding and the potential extra paint apps are sure to make this shine even more.

Hopefully a Gears remold is in the works.

I really like this new Legends line. The only one I don't care for is BB since he's just WFC Bee. If they repaint him to Hot Shot and Blazemaster to Jolt, I'd go for it though. All the others look like tons of fun.

No specific date, but he was revealed alongside Swerve here for some time in 2013. Maybe he got pushed back? It could also be that Amazon just hasn't put him up yet.

Cosmos sure is popular. Just a few years back he already had a henkei/classic/universe version and now another in the pipeline. Wish Cliffjumper would also get a "mini" figure too and not just a lazy BB recolor.

i want to like this line but the price point stops me, $10 is just to much. Still cant figure out how they pick these price points, a commander is slightly bigger than a legion but you pay twice the price, a deluxe is twice the size of a commander but you pay only a few bucks more, i miss scouts

That Bumblebee is pretty awesome, though. He's just different enough from his WFC design to actually look good, and his transformation is pretty fun. I love it because on the way to robot mode, it builds up a really nice momentum with the legs and chest all unfolding together, and if you do it right he transforms straight into a nice action pose.

Re: Legends BB: His bot mode is cool enough to warrant the $10 purchase. Especially if you're getting the other figures in the line. Blazemaster's pretty cool too.

Oh, Primus... I would buy that in a second!

The only figure from this line I've bought has been Starscream and he's just perfect in his simplicity. A snap to transform, great posablity, awesome gimmick and packaged with one of my other favorite TFs ever. I've held off on Prime, BB and Megs, but Swerve is an instant buy. Such a great character in MTMTE and this is an awesome likeness. Gimme. :grin:

You didn't really have any reason to think that, considering we always knew they were Legends and had their little partners, making them the same size as the Optimus, BB, SS and Megs that were previously in the line.

That said, these figures are bigger than Legion and a bit smaller than Commander, so that would put them a bit under Scout size (which in turn is a little bigger than a Commander).

Here's a pretty good picture for their scale.

These figures are much closer to Scout size than they are to Legend size. And they all have elbows and knees, unlike most Legends.

Once again, I was under the assumption that these were going to be scout sized when they revealeed them at Botcon. I already got a Legends Cosmos. If they would have made this one in scout or small deluxe class, I would have been very happy. But Igear Cosmos still reigns supreme due to a better scale. As cool as Shrapnel is, I have little interest in him because the Insecticons are new "seekers". You will never get all three in one scale or figure line. Fansproject did it. Why not Hasbro ?
