But for now, a minor mod!
His weapon is ridiculous. It can't be locked in sword mode, looks silly, is way too heavy for his arm, and looks out of place in beast mode.
Solution? Take it apart, entirely.
Discard the light/claw piece.
Fold in one of his hands. There is a slot big enough between the fist and the wrist for the sword's cog end to fit.
Result?
Hells to the yeah!
Alas, it cannot be stored in beast mode, or not that I've figured out how yet, anyway.
