I agree, the waist is a bit lacking. I find the bits of missing crotch disturbing.

Fortunately, the rest of the figure is so incredibly awesome I find I can work through it.

So very glad I preordered at $170. Just a few more weeks...

Ease of transformation isnt what makes a masterpiece, its all the little details that make this as close to perfection as possible. G1 Soundwave is awesome I agree but this moves things on.

Wow. Thanks for the in depth review ofn this highly ancticipated figure. I agree with most posts that the overall cost of this figure is way beyond my budget as much as I would like to have all Takara versions. I waited for TRU Prime, Grimlock, Rodimus, and will hope and pray that Hasbro gives this piece a domestic release for around 79.99 to 119.99. I wil not pay more for this than I did for Optimus...that would be complete insanity.I'm almost tempted to just buy the tapes and use my G1 Reissue Soundwave.

Looks like this is delayed again from RobotKingdom. Supposed to have shipped on the 21st now delayed to 26th according to the site.

Great review. I only wish he had shown off the packaging, instructions and whatever bio cards (if any) comes with it.

Definitely waiting for the U.S. version. Import prices are always going to be higher, but nearly $200.00 for a toy is crazy to me.

Still can't believe the cassettes are the same size yet include greater articulation and built-in guns. I to Takara's amazing level of engineering.

See thats why I am glad that I pre ordered Soundwave as soon as it was available. I was able to lock in $169.95 from TF Source plus FREE SHIPPING! I cant wait to get mine!!

He's very sick. Has been for awhile now. Still did the review for people. This fandom is one selfish group, not a thankful person out there.

People often take news and reviews for granted. Posting news/reviews take a lot of extra work and it's often easier to tear something down than put something together as Fanboy has eloquently demonstrated. I am guessing that you probably didn't mean that each and every one of us is unthankful. But instead we should remember to appreciate the hard work that goes into reviews and news reporting.

You guys are making me out to be a villain if everoyne was like me we would have the cheapest and highest quality transformers but no you insist on buying figures even with their flaws how is Takara meant to improve with no disciple ?
