Has has anyone been to the Grand Canyon. My parents are taking me there in a couple of months. Is it worth it?

Like every experience, you get out what you put into it. If you expect a hole in the ground, then that's what you'll take out of it. If you go in expecting to explore and examine one of America's largest natural wonders, then you'll probably get more out of it.

Note that this line of thinking does not apply to Michael Bay movies.

I went before. It was a nice experience for me, though we just stopped to look at the sights, not go in to explore.
I was with 3 women on a cross-country road trip, so by the time we got to Arizona, I felt like jumping into the Canyon.

I hope it will be fun, but I would love to hear more opinions. From what it looks from their website http://www.grandcanyon-nationalpark.org/ it is an amazing place. I hope to get on one of the helicopter tours and on this thing called Skywalk. Has anyone done this?
