I didn't grow up reading comics, but I've read Batman, Harley Quinn, Suicide Squad, and a few others of the new 52 that I have enjoyed. And I do like Injustice.

For whatever reason, I gravitate to villains more than heroes. Things like this would make me want to buy a copy.

I read really, really slowly. Can I get answer in nutshell. I need things simplified for me, like my mom used to chop up my food into little bite-size pieces. Could you provide me with lecture notes?

The question of whether we could provide you with lecture notes is an interesting one indeed. Did you know that the word "lecture" is actually French? The idea of a lecture is to convey critical information, history, background, theories and equations. A politician's speech, a minister's sermon, or even a businessman's sales presentation may be similar in form to a lecture. Usually the lecturer will stand at the front of the room and recite information relevant to the lecture's content.

Lecture notes are often used by students, to, surprisingly, take notes by lectures delivered by their Professors/Teachers. This in turn helps them study away from their classes and form a vital part of increasing their mental faculties.

As technology has evolved, so has the way people take notes. In the past, notes were often written by pen on paper. With the evolution of technology however, notes may be taken on tablets, smart phones, or computers.

However, Scientific American published an article about a study between taking notes by pen and paper and taking notes by laptop. They found that those students who used pen and paper, had a stronger conceptual understanding and were more successful in applying and integrating the material than those who used took notes with their laptops.

Back to your original question ... no.

Yeah sure, if you like crappy early 90s Kenner articulation.

Those Superpowers figures have a certain charm that recent releases don't. Kind of like the "bricks" of G1.

Pardon the deviation from the topic but, yup, that study is correct. There is something that is lost from when you type down the notes over the old school way of "writing" it down.

And duragrip, far as it is that Burncan't see through your ruse but I find it a bit insulting you ask him for notes when you have claimed your ADHS prevents you from comprehending any data input beyound 4 syllables.

Is your prescription supply of methylphenidate, dexamfetamine, lisdexamfetamine and atomoxetine gone low? It seems like you have been going through the "ebbing of the tides phase" Periods of lucidness followed by confusion or/ and hyperactivity.

Jeez man.....get your meds now!

And back to topic..........return her back now DC!

Image

I foresee an epic FAIL in sales  with that stoopid gimmick DC pulled off!

What's the problem?

PG Kara is on Earth 2.
New PG is on Earth 1 (Earth Prime ... Main Earth whatever) and part of Teen Titans.

Question: what if someone uses a stylus to write his notes on a tablet PC? Would that have the same effect? Just curious is all.

...sorry, back to DC Comicsverse stuff after this.

As for the new Power Girl (note: I've never read the comic for either one; more of a manga snob :P ), not feeling the "koala ears" hairstyle.

Marvel did it with Captain/Ms. Marvel ... DC had to do something as well.

She's still out there, she's still in the comics, though who knows what they'll do post Convergence, given they've taken to covering up Wonder Woman, PG will no doubt get more PG thanks to a vocal minority.

This week sees the release of Batman Eternal #52. The final book in the year long weekly mammoth.

It's been a great read. Lots of story arcs for all members of the Bat family all tying together in the overall story arc. If you have the chance I highly recommend picking it up.
It was also the final week for Earth 2: Worlds End and Futures End, two other weekly books which have been good reads.

Oh. That black Captain Marvel back in 1983 up? She could change her body into different forms of electromagnetic radiation. Well, she ain't no longer being talked about anymore as they returned Carol Dnavers back then made her Captain and got that religious based/hot button issue character to take her place.

DC/Marvel..........scraping ze buttom of the barrel to drive up sales. Of course, its a business now so I wouldn't blame them.

So far I've read Convergence #0 and #1 plus Convergence: Batgirl and Convergence: Batman and Robin.

Yes yes yes! Those were the classic simple but exciting story telling works of the 80s. JSA, Infinity Inc by Ordway and Thomas. How I missed those days.

Seeing as Miller hasn't written a good comics since the '80s, (Though he has written some of the worst comics in recent history, ASBAR being the worst thing to happen to Batman since his parents were shot) Neal Adams wins by default.
