Awesome news! I've been hoping that M.A.S.K. would make a comeback, would love to collect some updated toys. Not a lot of toy lines out there with vehicles and drivers/pilots as memorable as M.A.S.K.

Will they, Hb hire Shinji Aramaki back? Iirc, not only did he design the original MASK vehicles on the fly, he also was responsible for the Cyclone/Bubblegum Crisis bike armors and Soundwave,Reflector,Perceptor and Scope Dog.

Now, please don't sh*t on the storyline the way they did in the 1st G.I. Joe....

I think the Ship has sailed on Rom the Space Knight - but I suppose you can make a fun space adventure Movie out of the property I guess.

But it's not going to be making $1,Billion dollars so anything they make will essentially be a niche vanity project.

I don't think Visionaries needs to share any Universe with anything else - However I don't mind to much if the defunct age of technology they mention as back story is the same Universe as say Rom - that's fine as it not important enough to matter one way or the other.

But deep connections between such distinct brands would just be forced - even more so than trying to force M.A.S.K. into Gi Joe is.

M.A.S.K. would likely work best as a Movie actually set in an alternative 1980's or in a Timeless era like that Horror Movie with the Sexually Transmitted Demon from some months back.

I'd love a Visionaries Movie but I doubt Hasbro would be wanting to spend the sort of money needed to make it a good movie.

Visionaries is a great show - but it hardly last longer than someone lunch break in terms of longevity - they never even released the 2nd series of toys they designed. - I dread to think how much money a Visionaries Figure would cost now if it was a new line - $20.00 each maybe !!!

I suspect Micronauts is something that can't help but annoy someone - personally I'd scrap everything to do wit the Marvel Comics completely and just make a western version of Microman (more or less).

Or a whole new story based on the premise - I guess you could do Micronauts rather like Small Soldiers - and again an 1980's/1970's Nostalgia piece would be fun to see - but heck knows how modern kids would react to that.

What to current kids think of things like Old Batmobiles Videogame DLC for example ?

I don't expect much to come of this writers room - I don't think Hasbro really wants to spend the Money or treat the properties in a sensitive manner - Otherwise they'd not have allowed Gi Joe's sequel to be so sabotaged as it was.
