Seibertron.com can't freeze your computer and this website doesn't have malware on it. If you are experiencing problems like your computer freezing, you should check your machine for viruses or malware. Also, how much ram are you running on your computer? Is it a new computer or an old computer? Which browser and which version are you using?

Seibertron.com has froze my computer, especially after I make posts. My computer is brand new and I'm currently using Windows 8. (My computer refuses to install Windows 8.1, so I can't access some sites.) I don't have much memory on my computer since it's new. Also I'm using Internet Explorer not Google Chrome like most of the users. Not downloading that again.
Oh and I have checked for viruses. Thankfully I have no threats.

I've been getting email notifications the entire time. Does the bottom of the pages you are keeping tabs on say:

Board Index Unsubscribe Topic Bookmark Topic

If "Unsubscribe Topic" is there, then the notifications should be coming. If it says "Subscribe Topic" then notifications are not being sent. Are the topics for which you want notifications present in the Manage Subscriptions section of the User Control Panel? Is the email address on your account accurate?

Also, what browser are you using? That may factor into the issues as well.

This doesn't appear to be a widespread problem... Image

I checked everywhere, but I cannot find the thing you are talking about. The closest I can get is to to to user control panel, manage subscriptions. It then say that I'm not subscribed to any forums. All I can do is unwatch my watched topics.

I don't have email notifications for Private Messages either.

Interesting, that sounds like a setting is not configured correctly. If there are no forum topics listed in the "Manage Subscriptions" tab, then the topic are not being watched to trigger an email. Can you check your "Board Preferences ==> Edit global settings" tab and see if "Notify me on new private messages:" is set to "Yes"? And then can you check the "Edit posting defaults" tab to see if "Notify me upon replies by default:" is checked "Yes"? If this last one is "Yes" and your list is empty, you'll have to "Subscribe Topic" at the bottom of the forum thread for which you will want to receive email notifications, or just reply in the thread.

I hope this helps. If you'd like a PM to test that notification, PM me and I'll reply back to you.

This may be a silly suggestion, but did you check your email blocking settings? It's possible that a huge influx of email from the same address automatically triggers the setting that blocks the notifications outright, not just refers them to the Junk Email folder.

I checked, but no, Seibertron is not blocked.

Add seibertron.com to your "white list" (safe list).

Ryan is aware of the issue.

I need absolutely a Email address to do that. The one with the @ in it. So what is it? The Googles does nothing.

If you're using GMail ...

To whitelist an entire domain (all mail from an address ending in "seibertron.com", for example), type the just the domain name or the domain name preceded by '@'. To whitelist "seibertron.com", for instance, type "@seibertron.com" (not including the quotation marks).

Others should be similar. You shouldn't need a specific e-mail address (but if you REALLY insist then try forums)

I'm using Microsoft Outlook. I can't add a whole domain. So, trying out forums@seibertron.com. I hope this will work.

You can add either the sender's e-mail address or their domain name to the Safe Senders List.

On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
Click the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab.
    Click Add.
In the Enter an e-mail address or Internet domain name to be added to the list box, enter the name or address you want added, and then click OK.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each name or address that you want to add.

To add a domain, use @seibertron.com

No, it's Outlook, formerly known as Hotmail. It's a email provider on the web, not an inner software.

Yet, nothing work.

Not sure if this is the appropriate topic to post this in but it seems to be the most relevant. I think that Seibertron is missing a trick when it comes to attracting more members and encouraging them to post regularly on the forum. Is it possible to place the 'Welcome new members' topic in the Announcements section in order for it to appear in all sub-forums?

One of the many barriers to getting involved in a website as vast as this is you're not entirely sure about where or what your first post should be. The announcement topic could have a ready made questionnaire for new posters to answer if they so wish, though it doesn't have to be compulsory. I just think it would be a good way to encourage first time posters and also declutter the forums.

Just to let you know today I got a few forum notifications delivered to my spam folder. Fairly certain that's the first time it happened but it might be something.

Should be able to do that.

We're aware of your issue. Constantly bringing it up will not help the situation. Ryan is a very busy man. Please be patient.

Just an update, everything is fine on my end. Probably one of those magical hiccups that the internet is known for.
