Shia Confirmed as Indy's Son!

Variety has confirmed that LaBeouf is "in final talks" to play Indy's (Harrison Ford) offspring in the Steven Spielberg-directed sequel.
David Koepp wrote the screenplay for Paramount and producer George Lucas' Lucasfilm. Filming begins this June for a May 22, 2008 release.
LaBeouf, 20, has three big releases set for this year: DreamWorks' Transformers (exec produced by Spielberg) and Disturbia, and Sony's animated Surf's Up.

I think he'll make a fine Jones boy. Even in the screen cap of him and Megan Fox from the Transformers movie, he looks a little Indiana to me.

I would imagine that's what they would do. Introducing a new character to the franchise can only grow the brand really.

Hahahaha, Shady Pines. That's hilarious. I could see the irony of him being wipped over and over just to get him to make a hand made purse.

Interesting stuff. I've heard that another Indiana Jones movie was in the talks but I wasn't sure if it was going to get off the ground.
Is it confirmed that Harrison Ford will play Indiana? I just checked out IMDb. I wasn't sure how to believe:

I heard that Ford jumped at the chance to be Indy again. I hope so, he was awsome in those movies.
