Try

The World God Only Knows

Basically the same premise, guy trying to capture the hearts of multiple girls. You and your better half will have a kick out of it :)

Instant Que added.

Though, I think next up may be watching Chobits together.

Chi!

I honestly did not like Shuffle! It seemed like I was watching a video game more and more with the series. I know it's based off the video game, but I think the series was just a little too mechanical for my liking.

I did finish the Spice and Wolf anime and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to watching season 2 when they finally dub it.

If you're interested, Yen Press has licensed and released the first two (maybe three) novels.

I continue to be impressed by your taste. Spice and Wolf 2 really tugs on the heart strings. That story arc dug a deep hole in my soul and then lifted me right back out again at the end and gave me the perfect ending. I know you don't like subs so I hope they do dub it for you. It's an absolute must see as far as I'm concerned.

I've preferred the manga for Spice and Wolf so far. I really enjoy the art style in it and somehow, Holo is more interesting to look at anytime she's on a page compared to on-screen.

Agreed in part. I've found Manga adaptations are normally better as far as art direction goes. Though I've always preferred the way animation, music, and vocals combine with the story and dialogue to bring out a much wider variety of emotions in me.

I would read manga if I had the time, but amongst my transformers and various anime model kits, I have tons of novels I'm going through already and just can't justify adding another thing to my list of stuff I buy.

One of these days, I do plan on reading through the Hellsing Manga.

Also, I would kill for a season 3 of Ah My Goddess. I have no idea why they decided to stop making more beyond the second season.

I've become rather jaded with the English manga scene. I got rather tired of a series getting started, then being cancelled and the publisher shutting down and leaving the license in limbo.

Did I ever mention how much I despise(d) ADV Manga? I despise(d) ADV Manga.

I don't know why they wouldn't make any more Oh My Goddess though, I guess the DVD sales or viewing figures weren't up to snuff. I don't feel the need the for another round though. Since I read the manga for a long long time I've already had my perfect fill of it. X3; Maybe the Japanese audience felt the same way I do.

The Hellsing Ultimate OVAs are pretty much word for word, panel for panel, from the manga, if you'd prefer to watch it. Plus, there's additional content added in. Don't let the old Hellsing anime throw you off, the new OVAs really do Hirano justice!

Isn't Goddess still going? At least the manga anyway.

I guess I'll have to breakdown and start reading those. I've always wondered if Belldandy and Keichi ever get married or something like that at the end. One of the most painfully long romances I've ever seen.

Just wait until I finish my Belldandy model kit I'm working on. It will blow your mind.

It's precisely because it's still going that I've stopped reading it. Over saturation is not a good thing in my opinion, things become stale and I lose my love for them.

I'd rather keep my happy memories, as weird as some might find that.

Can't wait to see her!

Oh wow. Yeah I didn't wanna ump m Old one so I'm glad somebody else Did.

Recently I finished the recent jojo's blizzard adventure anime, Sigh ended at Stardust Crusaders. Hopefully they continue it on. I want to see how the series developed, As I've become a fan.

I also watched attack on titan, no surprise there. Its good, but man are they dragging on a second season. Seems he Team is preoccupied with The show's popularity, 4 ova's
and a Live action film, before a second season.

I'm currently watching the animatrix. Hit and miss, but i still a fun watch. Some of the animation in it is really good though, especially the samurai simulation.
The glitch in he Matrix and the runner were both also standouts.

I saw e movie Expelled From Paradise. It was a bit heavy on fanservice, but the animation was really great, the story wasn't anything to write home about though.

And I best get his one out of the way.
I'm watching Bleach.
Here's the ting about bleach.
Good concept, good characters, cool designs, great action setpieces... But its all Weighed Down by horrible writing, and NOBODY GOOD EVER DIES. Hard to feel threatened by the baddies if nobody bites it...
I seriously Cant recommend it unless you want something completely brainless.
And no I'm not being harsh, I'm over 200 episodes in...

It's been four years since I got a notification about my thread being bumped, I was honestly surprised.

There've been too many shows running since then I can't really list/remember them all. I don't have time to watch much anymore, but I'm really enjoying Overlord this season though.

I just finished watching Guyver: The Bio-boosted Armor. I'm going to start reading the manga because the anime stopped like halfway through.

I also just started watching Naruto. I've never actually watched this. I've only read the manga and I never finished it. I guess I'll hop back into it where it ends on Netflix. Especially seeming how it ended now and there's a new manga about Narutos son, Boruto. It better be good.

I've been waiting for RWBY Vol 3 to finally come out from Rooster Teeth. That'll be exciting

200 episodes in and that hasn't happened, well I'm honestly surprised! Good on them for killing somebody I suppose, but seriously, it took how long? I'm just waiting to see ichigo and ulquiorra fight each other, after that idunno.

That actually doesn't happen in the anime. See, just before the anime would have started the 1000-Year Blood War arc, the final arc of the series, and the one where the bodies start piling up...they cancelled the anime in favor of a Naruto spin-off.

It's alright. I'm pretty sure Bleach is full of fillers anyway. That's 1 story I'll stick to the manga for

True, but at least they do that instead of Dragon Ball Z's method of padding. You know the one I mean.

I watched Kill la Kill on Netflix twice now. There's no dubbed version on there so it was subbed and I find myself turning my tv off when it comes on Toonami now. I just don't like the dubbed version

Aaaahhhhhh Kill La Kill is one of my favorite anime ever! Would definitely watch it again.

I'm gonna go on a separate note here, but I recently watched Madoka Magica which I really liked. Are there any other dark Magical Girl anime like it?

I finished Soul Eater the other day. It was a pretty good watch. Netflix should Parasyte on so I can watch that. I can't seem to find it online.
