Anyone else been watching these awsome 5 minute shorts?

I haven't followed Marvel Comics...ever really, and really, really have no idea what' going on in their Universe these days. Still though, I read what I can, and definitely watch the TV shows.

From what I'm seeing in these online episodes, this looks like it's going to be one of Marvel's best series yet! My personal favorite shorts so far are Ant-Man and Thor. Unfortuneately, according to Wikipedia, these micro-episodes will be combined and made into episodes of the ongoing series, so that stinks there will be "reruns". Oh well, my appetite is still whetted.

Avengers Assemble!

Today's episode, "Meet Captain America", reveals that Nazi's do not exist in this Universe. Instead, it's Hydra, complete with gaudy green jumpsuits, and futuristic guns(that do shoot bullets).

Really? They couldn't have called it Axis and had some normal clothed soldiers out there, or WWII era weapons? I can't say I'm on board with this decision. It'd be one thing if Hydra was a small, secret orginzation of a larger empire(which I think it was in the comics), but for them to be the main big bad really demeans Cap's backstory. It also takes me out of the moment, and diminishes my suspension of disbelief.

Oh, and at the end of the ep, they reveal a cyclops.

THAT IS NOT WWII!!!

Also, in a very surprising and welcome cameo....Wolverine? Awesome!
