WTF.. Well the Saints are playing **** HOWEVER the damned sub refs are blowing calls left and right.. Not just in the Saints games, in EVERY game I have watched this season.. Yesterdays Pats game was atrocious with penalties and bullshit calls.. As was the Saints game.. So many blown/wrong calls from the refs..
I can't watch NFL anymore until the damned regular refs come back.. Their calls are completely ruining the game right now..

Wow, the ending of that Packers-Seahawks game? Wow.
Honestly, nobody had a clear view of where the ball actually was, it just seemed that Jennings had it. Then 1 ref calls TD the other signals for a TB? I hope the regular referees come back soon, because this is ridiculous. If the Packers were that good, it shouldn't have even come down to a play like that, but it is what it is.

I agree with you guys about the refs. NFL officiating is almost as bad as NBA officiating.

It's still not as bad as baseball umpires. Those people are given way too much power.

Well the scrub refs are out and the real ones are coming back.. According to ESPN this morn the debauchery that was the Monday night game only helped the NFL to move their asses and come to an agreement with the refs..
I still do not know if I am interested in this season as things are already messed up with the standings for so many teams especially if it comes down to some sort of division tie issue to move into the post season..

Yeah, the refs' bad calls have decided a few games so far through excessive penalties and miscalculations, but I think it's still early enough in the season for those teams to end up where they were going to be. I think both Green Bay and Seattle will still make the playoffs and the Saints will still suck. That Detroit-Tennessee game was the only one that sticks out for me that could have had a different outcome due to the refs' screw-ups. It might make a difference in their playoffs, as I thought the Titans would be a wild card team anyway, if not the AFC South winner. (I'm not drinking Houston's Kool Aid just yet.) But the Lions were going to miss the playoffs anyway, the Packers would get the NFC North and the Bears and Cowboys would get the wild card spots.
But I'm glad the regular refs are back.
Too bad Darrelle Revis is out for the season, which pretty much f**ks the Jets' season anyway. Hopefully there's still a chance for the wild card.

LMAO@San Diego. Philip Rivers is probably the most overrated QB in the NFL. I don't care about the Broncos, but that was awesome. Suck it, Norv.

Considering he's a Broncos fan, I don't think he minds. RG3 is far away from Peyton's level, even if Manning is overrated a bit.

I've been a New England Patriots fan for a loooong time so I may be a little biased towards Peyton Manning.... Now RG III, I like. After all, I got him in the 11th round of my fantasy draft! Not too bad of an investment.

I hate you...
I do think both Peyton and RG3 are a bit overrated...maybe RG3 will make good on it once he gets experience.
I wonder how much Eli torments his big brother at family functions...

This is way off subject, but this dumb thought has been troubling me.
Let's say for some reason the Detroit Lions sign Terrell Owens, should the Detroit Free Press have the headline: "Our Megatron Now Has His Own Starscream."

I was trying to go with the idea that they are both egomaniacs and constantly try to backstab (if not flat out usurp) team leaders (QBs eg Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, etc).

Before we go any further, do we have a TO apologist here? If so why (I have a gut feeling that you may have a good reason, UT Chattanooga alum perhaps?)?

He does have the best endzone celebration I've ever seen, the one where he takes a sharpie out of sock, signs the football and then throws it into the stands. Awesome!

Now I can give a proper answer.... No version of Screamer has tear ducts!
Sorry, I have to leave, I am hearing nothing but the deafing sound of crickets!

I hate the 3-4 defense! It is like a prevent defense, but with slower, fatter, stupider personel! There is no reason for a pass rusher to be in coverage anyway!
