In Gurren Lagann?
16 face combiner
Spiral Generals Gunship combiner
Gurren Lagann combiner
Samurai Gurren Lagann
King Kittan combine's with his sister's gunmen too.
Not to mention Super TTGL is a combination of several super mechas.

A couple of those are from different universes and japan only movies, but they exist none the less

Samurai Gurren Lagann is a name I made up, I dont know it's actual name, just go on youtube and search "Gurren Lagann Parallel Works 6" or "To hell with Gattai" and you'll see him.

With all those parallel works there might even be a few more, I havent seen them all.

That might have been me but I'm not going over 20 pages to check. Just in case: hahaha, screwed up your weekend.

Sure, it's not as if I have to write two chapters of my thesis by thursday.

You could combine the two, write a thesis on the practical application of Alchemy in modern day society. It was a real science at one point, we just haven't made a breakthrough in it in a few centuries.

I think it was me who suggested it. So good you dont want to sleep huh?

BTW "Sacred Star of Milos" takes place between episodes 20 and 21. Might want to check that out. It was a pretty cool movie.

Yep. Changes are already noticeable in 14. Hello, Hohenheim.

just watched a movie called princess mononoke(sp?) over the weekend. I really liked the color palette they used, especially for the forest scenes. the characters had some real depth to them as well, nost of the "villains" were very grey, they all seemed to be doing something they thought was honorable(with the exception of the samurai lord). the movie had a good pace to it and wasn't overly sexualized, which I think is a plus.....don't need any ridiculous sized cartoon boobs or weird bikini armour in my anime thank you very much. those are my two cents, so anyone else that has seen it what did you think?

It's Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli.
Always expect quality from them. ;)
If you haven't seen them yet, I sincerely recommend Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro.

Also, Mononoke had Neil Gaiman work on its English script. Which is nice. Image

Ok, now that I'm on 45 (really devouring these episodes, keeping them in the background when I get writing inspiration) of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, I'll need my next fix.

I remember one series that I watched sporadically, also by BONES: Wolf's Rain.
I can't remember much of it, apart from the synopsis - is it any good?

Yeah, that's what I remember.

Ok, how about Hellsing.
I know there is one anime (which I have kind of seen) à la FMA, straying from the manga, and a more recent one in OVA format. Anyone recommend it?

Has anyone checked out "Kurozuka"? Really good anime that I recently re-watched. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're into action/fighting sequences

So Crunchyroll is going to be added to PS3 and it'll have alot more anime than Netflix has. Even Youtube maybe. It's gunna be $7 a month to be able to watch everything. We know that I'm not going be using this, but it's just a heads up.

I'm still trying to get through the entire Dragon Ball series. I finished Dragon Ball about a week or so ago, and I started Z this weekend. As much of a fan as I am for DBZ, I never watched the whole thing, just bits and pieces. Now that I can watch everything, and uncut at that, I figured why not? so here I am, over 160 episodes in...

Im only going to watch the ones that fit in. The plotholes the are caused by the movies that DO fit in are bad enough. I have a list if your interested.

..and so far, they've moved an arm. A started walking.

How many Sayan does it take to change a lightbulb?
One, but it'll last three episodes.
