Moving on, Blade's rights have returned to Marvel? That's cool, the first two movies are pretty good and I liked the Anime' series, but I'm not a real big fan. I believe Daredevil's rights have also returned to Marvel, which is a plus.

The news of a Dr. Strange film is good to hear. I've read a little of Dr. Strange and don't know much about his overall mythology, but I do like the character. Shuma Gorath could make for an interesting villian, because a cycloptic octopus is just plain cool looking and I like him in the Marvel vs. Capcom games. Also, I'd like to see Rintrah, Dr. Strange's green minotaur friend. Because he's a green minotaur. And that's cool.

Nick Fury spent most of the movie lying his ass off. Why not have him lie about Coulson as well?

Coulson being back is the least of all issues to explain. Asgardian magic? LMD's? We never saw the body? Fury will outright lie if it gets the result he needs(the team coming together).

I'm very interested to see where they go with this. Hoping it lasts and maintains a higher quality over it's run than HEROES did.

A Dr.Strange film, trilogy, would also be very cool!! Lots of various avenues to play with: Cosmic, Horror, Supernatural or Earth bound foes. His franchise could be a good transition into characters like Blade and Ghost Rider even Man-Thing!!

I hope so too. One thing I'm very curious about is what villians they're going to use, AIM and Hydra seem pretty simple for the small screen, perhaps the Zodiac, since Scorpio is Fury's brother?

I wonder, could we possibly get a guest star from Cap or Thor? I'm not holding my breath for that, though assuming that's Power Man in the trailer we might get a few lesser known heroes in the show.

Yes, a thousand times yes, particularly on Man-Thing. The movie they already did is just sorta..there for me, and it's kinda surprising they made it at all. It's not too innacurate to the source material, I guess, since Man-Thing can just as easily be a villian or a hero(which is why I like the character), but since he's usually a mindless empath he doesn't have enough character to carry a movie without backup. Dr. Strange handling him for just the cold open of the movie would be fine.

Also, now that I think about it, Dr. Strange does have previous ties with Blade and Ghost Rider(does Marvel have the rights to him?) through the "Midnight Sons" imprint I think it was during the 90's. Heck, that could be there big team-up film if it proves popular enough! And the villian? A PROPER Blackheart.

So, is it going to be the same guy or two different Quicksilvers? Has Marvel negotiated to use the character in X-Men Days of Future Past and Avengers 2?

Look at it this way, it's one (possibly two) characters they can have in Avengers 2 that have had their intro movie already.

So hopefully they have done some negotiating.

This is just FOX being adolescent and giving Joss & Marvel Studios a middle finger in public for all to see.

Or they're lining the character up for Avengers to use, because as it turns out, everyone wants to get in on this.

I'm sure that marvel has some input into the Fox movies, so I can't see them getting too out of hand. After all would you want Disney angry with you?

I hope the studios do learn together I don't see why not. I mean it will only help them in the long run IMO. I would love to see more crossover for sure.

As for the Silver Samurai, I'm disappointed a bit. Granted, it's just a quick shot, but he looks waaaay too big. I remember him being smaller in the comics. Still seeing the movie, though.

RDJ is still iron man, he signed on for the next 2 avengers movies.

Amazing Spiderman 2 is on the way, with rumors of Stark Tower being..involved somehow.

Makes sense, they wanted to have Oscorp Tower in Avengers, but the timing of the request was off. (The CGI model of New York was too far along to add another building) This is more or less the next best thing.

Now if Sony will fold and let Spidey into Avengers 2, that would be pretty cool.

I was thinking he would be more suited to play Vision.
