minor - 30th Gen Springer - WIP
Posted: Sat Jan 28, 2017 4:14 pmI love this Springer figure (even though it now feels far too big in comparison to his fellow Autobots like Gen Arcee and Titans Hot Rod and Blurr or same size as enemies such as Megatron and Galvatron who should look a fair bit bigger than him) but the mostly grey arms had been bothering me for ages and I was bored tonight so added a fair amount of green (a darker shade for some slight contrast) and coloured in a section on each arm yellow where his designs usually had yellow but not on this toy (if those panels that can move up and diaginally out could swing down more and have an extra hinge to let them fold around the arms it could have worked). Also used the darker green paint on the kneepad/landing gear things so stand out more against the thighs. Need to tidy up the lines where the green and yellow paints meet and gonna paint darker green around the arm fins but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it's looking.
