I was so bummed about the FE's being dropped in the U.S. I had to paint my Robots in Disguise Prime Cliffjumper to be more accurate with a little extra bling.

Wow, very nice job. Looks great! How did you apply the paint, airbrush? Is there some sort of sealant on top? What did you do to it before applying the new paint? I'm interested in getting into some repainting myself.

Actually, this one I used off the shelf Testors Lacquer spray paints, but I do use an airbrush also. I completely disassembled the figure, removed all pins and wheels, primed all the parts with a lacquer primer then sprayed the metallic red on the body panels and black on the armature. I came back with a silver dry brush on all the armature parts and airbrushed a metallic black fade onto the red body parts then sealed everything with Testors Wet Look Clear Lacquer. Finally I hand brushed a black wash into all the panel lines and hit it with one more clear coat. Oh, also airbrushed the clear plastic with a transparent Testors Model Masters blue acrylic.

Thanks for the compliments gang!
