Here's my latest creation.

THE LADY OF THE ICE.

She is so elegant, charming, gentle, and kind. She is the softness of the snow, and she's bright and calm as a sunny winther afternoon.

What I used? Bionicles, one Barbie, and a tacky angel thing. I had to remove the wings, and all the inside of the angel thing. Then, I removed the barbie's legs, and I build the Bionicle spider around it. I just painted a part the Barbie's body and I had to glue 3 to 4 critical Bionicle pieces that kept popping off, making the whole thing crumble.

Transformation is simple. It's just a matter of folding the spider legs in a way that everything hid well under the dress and for the doll to stand straight.

So, whatcha think?

That was awesome! As I was scrolling down, I kept wondering WTF was a doll doing in a TF custom site, and then BAM! Pretender!

I tell you, Bay should have gone with THIS idea for Alice in ROTF.

Rock on, Kanrabat! 8)

Thanks!
That IS a pretender! In my headcanon, she have a very human and sexy pair of legs... :x until her meat-suit turn over like a sock so that a disgusting spider THE SIZE OF A HUMMER come out.
Barf...

I had a hard time finding a spider toy to fit under that. I was not sure about what results Bionicle pieces would do and I did not really wanted to go the Lego route. I looked at my Bionicle box and found out the spider WAS in my box! It just wanted to be built. So I went ahead and did it. I'm very pleased with the final results. It had a tendency to split in two at the torso so I had to glue-in the 4-5 pieces that kept splitting. Now it's rock solid and very transformable!

Thanks! I know the femme-fatale who have lots of STD under her skirt is a cliché, but it's an awesome cliché!
Beside, hiding junk under a dress is easy and that was an idea I wanted to realize from a long time.

For my next project, I wonder if it would be possible to make another pretender from a overly obese man. You know, with a bulging gut. Everything should split open to reveal robo-parts that would make a very bug-like robot. If I could cram a "cybertronian" vehicle mode out of this too, it would please me.

The challenge wil be to find the right morbidly-obese-man toy for a base...

There is only one word that can be used to describe this thing: CREEEEPY!!!!

Wow, I was wondering what this was, then when I saw that thing emerge from underneath and the doll rolled up into a giant spider's butt, holy cow did it creep me out!

Quite impressive...and eeeeevil

There are several different toys of this guy out there(ebay search has several). I think I have the movie version, but not opened. I don't know if they are hollow or not though, but I don't think that would stop you.

Did you get your inspiration from Princess Clara and her Octopuswa(for your Lady of Death\Ice that is?)

I dont know who Octopuswa is. Anyway, good call on the Evil clown. I'd like to make a triple changer. Disgusting obese man that turn into a very creepy "bot" who turn into a "Cybertronian" grotesque "car" from hell.
Lots of thinking and engeneering will be needed to perform this one... It will take a very long time to make, but once I have my mind set up for something, you KNOW I get the job done. No matter how long it take.

Stay tuned!

Bionicles are great to make the "living machine" look.
Now get to work on that Scorponock of yours! ;)^
