Hey, bots and cons,

I've been feverishly swapping Kreon body parts as of late and thought I'd share the results with my fellow plastiphiles.

That Autobot HQ is amazing! What supplied all the yellow-orange bricks?

The kitbashed Kreons are also very cool, Skids in particular.

Hey, thanks for the compliments!

The entire Autobot HQ can be put together using only the full-size Kre-o Bumblebee. His elements were surprisingly more orange than yellow...I guess the color is supposed to resemble the Bay-verse sports car over the classic yellow bug. I would have preferred some orange walls, but Bumblebee only had so much he could give.

And, as for Kreons, I have more kitbashes on the way.

I'm contemplating investing in some waterslide paper and clear spray paint to make some new decals, but I haven't worked up the gumption yet.

Anyone with advice on that matter?

Just some simple kitbashes to make Kreonized Dinobots and Insecticons

Really like those insecticons, the dinobots are nice as well.

Thanks! I'd like to scrounge up some yellow bricks for Kickback and Bombshell's chest plates. And I acknowledge Bombshell would be a little more convincing without a race car helmet...but Hasbro has been a little stingy releasing Kre-o heads with mouth guards, so the driving helmet it was.

For the Dinobots, I liked that they had the right color schemes, but they need some kind of Lego back-pack with a stud on it that does not wrap around the front. That would let me give them wings and other dinoparts without covering up their distinctive chest-colors. The only options from Kre-o are the copter-bot vest (see Kickback) and the flak vest (as scene on Slag). A committed customizer would paint, dye, or cut these parts, I guess...

And a couple of new kreons for this week...

More good ones

Might have to get my meager collection of kreons out and see what i can come up with.

I'll admit he's perhaps not the most convincing kitbash, but it's the best I could come up with given the pieces on hand.

perhaps but i can still see it though. and better than the zero ive come up with lol. though i have a few in mind i may try out when i get alittle free time which isnt much lately.
